The price is right with this lamp(at least at the time of this review) so I ordered it. I didn’t think it would look as nice as it does now that it’s set up in my living room. It’s a lovely brushed gold, and has a nice shine to it that adds drama. Love it!The base is heavy, so no need to worry about the thing toppling over. Putting the lamp together was easy once I took the black clips off each portion of the base and screwed everything together. If you’ve had this type of lamp before, you know the drill, which is good because the included instructions are minimal. To my surprise, based off of many reviews of this lamp, there was indeed a bulb included! Nothing fancy(bulb not as shown, just basic), a 6W LED, but hey, free bulb! It turned out much better than the very dim amber bulbs I had initially purchased for the lamp. I guess my only small gripe is the foot switch for turning the lamp on/off. It’s a bit fiddly, and the cord it’s attached to is stiff so it doesn’t want to sit quite right on the floor. Small, minor thing that doesn’t diminish this lamp’s shine!Anyway, I am super pleased. Like I said, it adds style and drama to my living room and did I mention the bulb that came with it??? 😀
