Saves me money every time I use it
Nice little trimmer, very easy to handle, and gets the job done. I wish it had a little more power but the Lithium battery version is a vast improvement over the NiCd battery version. FYI, The light does not go off to tell you that it is charged. I have had a few of these (NiCd and lithium) and the light never worked like the directions. The Nicd battery version should last you 3-4 years at least if taken care of (although some recent reviews are stating otherwise), we’ll see on this lithium version.

I am thrilled with the TRYM Trimmer thus far. My old Wahl Trimmer battery finally bit the dust after years of service. I was attracted to the sleek contemporary styling of this Trimmer as I am a design professional. I like my products and devices to be beautiful to look at. I was slightly concerned about how it would feel in my hand, and am happy to report that it is perfect. It is quite slim, and easy to grip and manipulate into differing positions. And it is perfectly balanced with an ideal weight (not too light).Itâs slightly noisy … expected at this price point … which can be annoying when trimming that pesky ear hair. Sheesh … other than my small balding spot, the most annoying part of getting older.But the most BRILLIANT feature of this Trimmer is the charging options. PURE has designed the plugs to allow the cord to fit both the charging stand and directly into the Trimmer. That versatility is a highly desired feature, in that I can leave the charging stand at home when traveling with the Trimmer.I must say, your designers thought of everything. If this Trimmer proves to be as durable as my clunky old Wahl … you will have one THRILLED customer.

I recommend! A little context: for a decade Iâve used the Cruzer… went through 2 of them. I have a relatively short beard and used the 3mm setting most of the time. When the battery died I shopped for another but I didnât care for itâs replacement. I did way too much research and decided to take a chance on this one. I was leery because the price seemed low and I hadnât heard of the brand…. this trimmer is easily twice as good as the Cruzer. Iâve had it about a month and use it every 2-3 days. Itâs just a simpler and sturdier product. I havenât even had to charge it yet. I didnât think I was going to like the multiple attachments, but I do because itâs just simpler. It trims faster too. I am used to having to go over the same area multiple times, but this trimmer seems to cut that cycle in half. And finally I really like the design, aesthetic, and feel. Simple and crisp.

Says what it does, and does what it says.That’s the highest praise one can offer up on any product these days. However, TRYM does it with true style – a sense of panache that seems to be missing in the world of today. Picking up the TRYM is a sensory experience that mere words fail to convey. The heft is satisfying, exuding that pleasing quality of being just right no matter how you hold it.Yet… the overall design falls short of perfection.The included “guides” give you a startling array of choices for beard length, so long as one wants short or shorter stubble. You had better want your “beard” – and I shudder to even call it that, perhaps “stubble farm” is more apt – one-half inch long, or less. If you wish for longer, you are out of luck. Period. End of Story. Full stop.Sadly, precision is not the strong suit of the TRYM. That oh-so-satisfying design hides a beast that excels at cutting vast swaths of hair in a hurry. If you want all of the hair growing on your head to be one-quarter inch, well… TRYM will shock and amaze you as to how quickly that will be done. If you are trying to trim a mustache, be very, very careful. One slip and you may be going to ground and starting over.I want TRYM to be perfect just because it is to experience nirvana to hold it. Sadly, it is too far into Mr. Hyde territory than Dr. Jekyll. Perhaps refinement is in the cards and perfection can yet be reached.

the best trimmer I’ve ever had — now with a better battery and 5 year warranty
I bought the previous version of this — the Trym II — about 5 years ago and couldn’t have been happier with it. Eventually the battery started to go, but it worked great keeping it plugged in. After my partner accidentally dropped the power adapter I thought I’d shop around and see what other products were available. After trying a few of the highest-rated beard trimmers and being sorely disappointed I reached out to Trymâs customer service to inquire about their new trimmers. They informed me about the brand new version, the Trym Lithium, and even helped me get a coupon for the new shaver. It has the same form factor I love, but now with a greatly-enhanced battery life and a 5-year warranty. All for under $30. Super satisfied with the product, and now I know the customer service is on par as well. Very satisfied customer!

Overall this is a great product. I was sold on the design and the other reviews that seemed to suggest professional quality cutting blades and construction.I purchased the trimmer for my beard and immediately with the first use I appreciated how sharp it cuts my hair. My facial hairs lay flatter and it looks professional in just a few minutes!The guides are easy to attach and remove.The travel bag is a great accessory.Charging time is fantastic. It takes me less than 5 minutes to trim my beard so I don’t expect to need the take the charging stand on trips.

I have been using the first generation TRYM II shaver, and was pleased with the style and the performance of the device until it was no longer able to keep it charge. I have been searching for another shaver until I saw and purchase the TRYM Lithium. On my first use of the device, it charges quickly, I love the fact that it has the LED to indicate charge. The shaver is powerful and the adapters are superb, I would have liked the tip of the cutting blade to be a bit closer for a more razor like cut, but sure, the shaver was not disappointing. Great improvement !!.
