Clients say

Clients admire the coat’s match, heat, and high quality. They discover the sleeves comfortable with outer sleeves that poke out, and the torso size appropriate for biking in chilly climate. The jacket retains them heat, and is ideal for round 40 levels F with excessive wind as much as round 55 levels F. Many think about it a good selection for late fall biking, climbing, or winter biking. In addition they admire the fashion, wind resistance, and luxury.

Warm and wind resistant (water resistantance untested)
I’m from Northern NY/Vermont. I’ve only worn this once but it was on a 4 hour ride in Southeast Vermont and Massachusetts in November (just under 6 hours total with a few stops and some class 4 hike a bike). 4 hours, 40 miles (road, gravel and single track) and 4466ft gained. Temps started out in the mid 30s and were forecast to be in the 45-50 range but unfortunately climbed to 62F. Max speeds 40mph,sustained speeds over 25mph, max uphill sustained 8% for 6 miles, 24.5% max gradient up. Basically this jacket saw it all except rain.Heres what I can say. First, I’m warm natured. So understand if you are cold this might not apply.1. At 36F this jacket was absolutely fine. I wore this with a long sleeve summer weight jersey and fleeze lined lycra tights. Full finger uninsulated gloves. I prefer to be mildly cold and at 36F I was a little cool at the extremities.2. Within 1 hour and by 40F I was fairly warm. I believe this jacket is adequate in temps to 35-45F depending on your comfort level.3. By 50F and sunny I was sweating a lot. It does breath somewhat. The back is totally breathable. The front and sleeves appear to be wind and mostly vapor proof. I don’t mean it doesn’t breath at all, but even top of the line Goretex wets out under extreme load.Summary on breathability: back, dry as a bone. Sleeves: It reminds me of 1999/2000 era Gore Windstopper. Soaked. Chest, slightly less wet due to zipper. Same material.Water resistantance: Appears to be water resistant but cannot confirm.Overall this is a nice jacket for cold dry weather. I wouldn’t get this for a humid climate with temps in the 50-60 range. 35-45 is your sweet spot (everyone is different of course).Fit and finish were nice. Amazon should list my size. I’m currently 5’10” 174lbs and it was a little big in the core. But it could handle a thicker layer and in winter ultra snug is less important than being comfortable. As noted it reminds me of 1999 era Gore Windstopper and is well made. If you know what Windstopper is, you either will run from this or not care. For me, it’s fine.

    A Quality Cycling Jacket
I have used my Przewalski Cycling Bike Jacket for several months now, and I really like it. I chose the blue with orange trim version, and my wife says that it looks good on me. I purchased the recommended size, and it fits me perfectly. I like that it is longer in the back such that it just covers the back pockets on my jeans. Sewing quality is very good with no apparent errors or re-stitching evident. The zippers appear to be of good quality and are easy to use.A nice feature is that the front face is relatively wind resistant when zipped up tight, while the rear uses a more breathable material. As such, you can adjust wind flow through the jacket by adjusting the main zipper as well as the pocket zippers; all control airflow through the jacket to control accumulated perspiration. At full zip, air flow through the jacket is minimal. When cycling and the outside temperature is below 45 degrees F, I wear a sweatshirt and a long sleeve shirt under the jacket to keep warm. Above 45 degrees the sweatshirt comes off. I probably won’t use this jacket above about 65 degrees, as it will likely be too warm.A nice feature is that the sleeves have snug inner sleeves at the ends that poke out and cover the bare wrist area between where cycling gloves end, and a regular coat’s sleeves begin — no more cold wrists when cycling on frigid winter days. I haven’t worn this coat in the rain to check how waterproof it is.For me, this coat is gently snug, comfortable and attractive, and it does not flap in the wind when reasonably zipped up. It has very good internal airflow adjustment through it making it suitable for three season use. As I said before, I like it! Recommended.

    Warm – Only 1 Con
This is a great jacket. Kept me very toasty on a 30 mile bike ride in 40 degree weather; and completely blocked the wind. Only con is that the sweat will wick through the seams. This jacket is a winner otherwise in terms of performance.

Good winter cycling jacket for the price
I bought this jacket for wearing during winter riding when temperatures are below 40°F. I wanted something fleece lined that would protect me from the wind and rain. This jacket does really well with the first one, not so well with the second. The jacket provides excellent protection for temperatures below 40. I’ve ridden with it all the way down to 31, recently. It hasn’t been colder than that here, so I can’t say how low it’d be good for. It does an amazing job at keeping the wind out and keeping me warm.It is not so great in the rain, though. Last night I rode 31 miles in the rain with a temperature of 39°F. The jacket absorbs the rain and holds on to it. Not a good jacket for the rain. However, if you put a windbreaker over top of it, something water proof that’ll keep out the rain, then its perfect for rain weather too. It just doesn’t do well wet.The jacket has several zipped compartments and reflectors. The zippers are fine-pitched metal and work well though I could see them binding and breaking if not careful. There are three pockets on the rear for bottles and snacks. Those pockets are not water resistant, though, so be careful with your phone. The jacket is cut longer in the back and likely best for drop-bar road and gravel cyclist.Fit wise, I am 5’11 and 160lbs and carry my weight in my stomach. I bought a size Small. I had originally bought a Medium but returned it. It was just too loose in the midsection. The Small fits me exactly how I want it to fit. Tight enough not to bunch in my mid section or flap in the wind but not so tight it won’t sit over top of a long-sleeve jersey.

La he usado poco porque es muy caliente, pero la vez que la utilice a 4 C, funciono excelentemente. Mantiene muy bien el calor corporal.
