Cut and remove the keeper string
The only thing I really didnât like was that the keeper string that holds the lid upright wonât lay down to the side and keeps covering the watch on that side, so I clipped and removed it; the lid stays upright on its own (and mineâs against a wall anyway), so unless you push it back hard, thereâs no problem with removing the string. Aside from that, the only other minor issue is that the drawer is too small. Itâs good for necklaces and I stored my extra watch battery in it, but if you have rings with a wide stone, they wonât fit in the drawer.

Over all the watch and jewelery case looks good. Quality is mostly good with the exception of the chrome pieces which came scratched. This could have been avoided if the manufacturer put a protective sticker on it that the consumer would peep off after purchase.
