Excellent quality! New to Blu-ray!
I have never seen this movie look so good until I watched the remaster that Warner Archive released. The colors are usually washed out when aired on Boomerang and elsewhere! Iâm so happy to see they finally color corrected the movie and it looks the best it ever had! Highly recommend!

So Good To See You Again, TC
Saw this years ago. I have the complete series, and needed this to complete the collection. It doesn’t meet the standards of the series because the voices of the six cats are so ingrained in my memory from when I watched them as a kid, that I can tell- they lack something in the movie. TC’s color is brownish, etc, etc… but still- it is Top Cat and it needs to be included to complete the wonderful stories of the antics of these memorable cats.

In this feature-length adventure (Which is a pretty good follow-up to the Top Cat series), we find Officer Dibble on the verge of retirement, Benny the ball as an unexpected heir, a scheming butler with his snickering soviet mutt, and a missing granddaughter who is the rightful heir. With all the wisecracks you’d expect from The Beverly Hillbillies, along with a wipe-out-the-heir scheme, and Hannah Barbara’s brand of zaniness, you KNOW it’s gonna be interesting.

I wonder if those who have rubbished the 2 recent TC films will think the same of this? That would be unfair because it features the original cast (apart from Allen Jenkins and Maurice Gosfield who had passed away before 1986) and it’s written by Barry Blitzer, who scripted many original episodes. When Benny helps a seemingly helpless bag lady across the road, he later learns she is a lady of many surprises and she’s named him in her will! TC of course wastes no time in taking advantage of this. But just like Arthur Daley you know there’s no real bad in him and the gang discoverer the real Heiress working in the local car wash. Awww! If you own “the complete” DVD set, this is a great addition.
