Finally!!
I guess I am picky when it comes to electrolytes. I have never found one that I liked before. The ones I tried in the past either tasted good with very little electrolytes, or they were loaded with the electrolytes and had a bad taste.Primaforce Electrolytes are perfect. They are in single-serving stick packs, so I can just put them in my book bag – and they are exactly the ratio of electrolytes I am looking for. On top of all that, I have had them all now since I bought the variety pack. I think I like the grape the most – but all taste great.

Sensible Electrolyte Replacement by Reliable Brand. Does contain 70 mcg of Chromium Picolinate
Whenever I try a new supplement I start with a safety review. Supplements have become a billions dollar industry, which motivates all sorts of folks to jump on the bandwagon. Thatâs why I like to look at manufacturer/distributor transparency, accountability and quality before taking anything regularly.Transparency: Primaforce has a broad internet presence. According to Justia, the first use of the name goes back to 2005. Primaforce has a web page with an âAbout Usâ section thatâs largely devoid of information, except to say that itâs a âsubsidiary of Disruptive Enterprisesâ, which was co- founded (?) by itâs CEO Mike Hockenberry in 2016. Initially though it looks like Primaforce was associated with Mike McCandlessâ Scivation brand, which he sold in 2021. When I contacted Primaforce to ask about NSF certification, the emails I received back were from Nutricost (McCandless sold Primaforce in 2022). So while the brand lacks some transparency, I think it might be because itâs a complicated business story that most folks probably donât care about, and which I very likely havenât got completely right.Accountability: While reviewing Primaforce Creatine capsules I previously contacted Nutricost, and they kindly replied to my emails, which were seeking to verify their claim that this PrimaForce product is âManufactured in an NSF Certified facility and following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.â While they didnât want me to share the image of their certification, their claim is easily verified at the NSF website and they said theyâre happy to respond to individual queries. On the bag it indicates âTested for Purity and Potencyâ.Quality: This product is 30 individual packets of electrolyte drink powder. It appears to dissolve easily in water, but there is a little sediment left at the bottom, and even after sitting for 5 minutes a bit of granules cling to the sides and bottom of the glass (easy to swirl around at the end and get most everything). I appreciate that this is not a really high sodium product, with 240 mg of Sodium (10% of the DV) and 270 mg of Potassium. For where I am in life, I feel like thatâs a nice ratio for me personally. It also contains Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Chromium, Molybdenum, Chloride, Calcium, and C and B Vitamins. Taste wise itâs not kool-aid, but itâs about as good as electrolyte replacements get. Iâve tried the peach and grape so far (peach being my favorite). I also appreciate that this is stevia sweetened and contains only 5 calories per stick.I’m not a big fan of Chromium Picolinate (long story),so I wish there were a bit less than 70 mcg, but otherwise this appears to be another quality product from a sports brand thatâs been around for awhile. Itâs something Iâm comfortable using, but always a good idea to check with your health care provider before starting a new supplement.

Unripe peaches
I was looking to replace the out of stock Engineered Nutrition peach electrolytes Iâve been loving and this is a pretty poor substitute. Not comparing the electrolyte content, but the flavor is just not exciting. I have a very low appetite and this flavor just does nothing to make you want to drink it. If it tastes like peaches, theyâre not ripe ones.

Handy Hydration on-the-Go
PrimaForce Electrolyte packets are a convenient way to stay topped up, especially during workouts or hot days. They come in a nice variety pack, so you’re not stuck with the same flavor all the time. Plus, the individual packets are perfect for tossing in your gym bag or backpack. However, I did find there to be a bit of an aftertaste with some of the flavors. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of.

Electrolyte packets
Taste is terrible

solid hydration packet
Stevia is the flavoring of choice, which isn’t my personal favorite as it leaves a lingering aftertaste, but running out of sugar free options these days, and it’s much preferred over sucralose. The actual electrolyte content is on par, if not a touch lower, than some of the others in the market that I’ve tried. Biggest one to note is the sodium is about half of what I’m used to, which might not be a bad thing for most people, depending. Overall a great choice in this oversaturated hydration market.

Thin but makes a great electrolyte drink
Each pack of electrolytes are very thin but contains a lot of powder. It is very easy to tear and pour into a cup of water. The diluted taste isn’t bad at all and the whole process of making an electrolyte drink could be done in under a minute. As a runner, this is great for providing me energy and keeping me hydrated for my short or long runs. The flavors may not be for everyone but I do prefer the tropical punch over the grape and peach mango although they’re all not bad. I do prefer to have these drinks cold versus room temperature.
