Does exactly what it says!
I’ve only used the Pride and Groom Kit once, but it seems to do the job as advertised. I put 4 – 5 large spots of foam on my dog, massaged it in with my hands then used the mitt to dry the dog off. It leaves a nice light clean smell rather than a perfume smell like other dog cleaners. It also did not leave my dog’s fur feeling sticky like others. At first I was skeptical about the price for the size of the can of cleaner, but I feel it will go a long way, so I would have to say it is a good value. My dog is a 35 lb Brittney Spaniel – it obviously won’t last as long with an 85 lb dog!

worth a try, not a guaranteed solution
Pros: I think the shampoo probably works: the small area of my dog I was able to cover did feel smoother and cleaned after letting the shampoo dry. I also appreciate that the fragrance is very mild – not quite unscented but much easier to tolerate than a strongly perfumed product.Cons: The design of the mitt is nice — it was large enough for my hand (which is not super large) and the chenille texture is nicely absorbent. However the mitt is very similar to a toy and my younger dog was sure it was for playing. There’s a waterproof layer in the mitt that crinkles loudly, very much like many soft dog toys. And that’s an extremely odd choice, since there are many silent waterproof materials.Result: My older dog hates baths. She thinks they are the worst possible thing that could ever occur. I was excited to try this product since it could spare her some baths and because she has previously tolerated disposal bathing mitts. But she balked at the smell of this product. When I put some on the mitt and let her sniff it, she backed away and crouched. I tried putting a little on my hands and petting her with it, and she still tried to get away, which is not how she normally behaves. So in her opinion, even if it doesn’t feel like a bath, it’s not an enjoyable product.

Baby dog loves it
Spray the foam on your favorite 4 legged baby. Put the mitt on, rub baby dog with nubby side of mitt. Scent is not offensive and pup loves the massage. The other side of the mitt is to use around the face. I haven’t had to deal with mud or other unpleasantness, but this definitely prolongs time between baths.

My dog just thought being rubbed all over with the big fuzzy mitt was the best thing every. He smelled really nice after wards. Would recommend.

Useful but less so for long haired dogs
I was surprised the mitt was sturdy and felt luxurious and the foaming waterless shampoo smelled good. However my dogs fur is long, and in order for the shampoo to reach down into his coat I had to use a lot of the product. It’s very handy and useful to wipe his legs and paws after a messy walk! ( I have a husky )

The bath your dog won’t run away from-
If your dog is less than thrilled about the usual water-in-the-tub bath, this may be a game-changer for you both. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a time & place when warm water immersion is ideal, but for those other times…like when you don’t have much time or the weather is cold, or company is coming & well, you love your dog but they badly need a “refresh”, this is an excellent product. I found the foam spray especially easy to use, as it stays on the fur without dripping while you can rub in it really well. It provides a reasonable job of cleaning with a very fresh & pleasant smell. The mitt is effective too, though it is made for dogs of all sizes, & for my little one- it’s about half her size- but it’s well-accepted anyway, as it’s soft & absorbent. The most important thing to me is that the spray is made with safe & effective ingredients, as it seems to be. As with any pet baths, for best results, brush your dog’s coat before the bath, to loosen up dirt & old skin cells for removal. All in all, this is effective & extremely well tolerated, & if your dog could write, they’d probably put this on their Christmas list.

It smells good
I did like the fragrance. This was my first time using a “waterless bath” on my small dog (she’s 5 years old and about 11 lbs-a mix Havanese and Bichon). She gets professionally groomed about every 6 weeks but she loves to roll in anything stinky whenever she goes outside and then proceeds to seek out a human lap without a care about her offensive odors. I would bathe her and blowout her hair almost weekly but I noticed she was itching a lot and licking her paws so I thought maybe I’m drying out her skin with all the baths. I thought this would be a good solution, and maybe it will be. I used this waterless bath and I found it difficult to get all the foam on her short hair because the glove has plastic inside and I just could not get a good grip on my dog. I finally decided to use my bare hands and spread the foam on her. This worked better for me. I used the glove with the fluffy tendrils on her to dry out the foam. She looked a littly messy but by the end she was fine and smelled quite lovely. I could not get to her face because by now she was fed up with me and the glove is too big for her tiny face. I will try it again and use my fingers and a small wash cloth to treat her face and paws and tail. I don’t dislike the product. I think it smells very nice and this will be a good option in between baths and the groomer. I just don’t believe it’s an actual “bath” but more of a deodorizer which is a good thing. That’s why I only took off 1 star out of 5. You will not clean your dog, you will cover up the stink.
