Iâve never had a presta valve before, and this product is likely to be bought by somebody who has the same limited experience I do. A video on the product page would be useful.Underneath the valve cap thereâs a screw in, screw out piece that locks the stem in place preventing air loss. It must be screwed all the way out and then this adapter must be pressed on As far as it will go before screwing the adapter on. I was trying to screw it on from the get-go and it screwed that little stem lock in place so I couldnât fill the tire. Once my brother, who is a bike expert, told me what to do, it worked fine. They are aluminum (light weight is a good thing in a bike rim) so I donât know how well theyâre going to stand up to being taken off and on multiple times but for the price, you canât complain!
