Great Parts Replacement for my Cat Tree
I just found out you can buy these replacement parts when the scratching posts on my cat inevitably gets shredded. Last time I bought a whole new cat tree. Finding these replacement posts was fantastic and a great savings. The quality is the same as the original posts. You do have to be careful to pick the same screw thread (These a M-8, but others are M-10 size so check you existing posts to be sure, it is usually written on the end of the posts themselves.). Also this post was a little bit longer than my old one, which is not a a problem. Cats are happy, so I am happy.

This was an easy inexpensive repair for my cat’s scratching post. Works great

Good quality
I used to buy the ones at Walmart and I got the ones that you could get the refills. They don’t sell the refills anymore, so I purchased these. These are much better quality than the ones I purchased at Walmart. I had to replace them often. I haven’t had to replace this one yet and it’s been about 8 months! Also, my cat uses it more, because it’s not coming apart.

These are good ones!!
These are my favorite so far! I’ve replaced the sisal poles on my cat scratcher many times. These are not shedding all over my carpet and haven’t fallen apart like other brands have.

Some Creativity May be Required.
I got these over a year ago to replace the decimated scratcher/perch our oldest cat had since she was a baby, and… they’re not universally compatible. The threads on the screws were too small to fit in the perch, but I managed to modify the unit and install them regardless. Now the perch is hilariously tall and the cats ADORE the scratchers! I think the red is their favorite.

Good but not a super value for the money
While I might buy again, my original scratching post came with much thicker rope. This is a thinner layer and our cat is going through this so much faster. Needs to be thicker or duel layers. Itâs a good sturdy perfect fit but will not last nearly as long as the original did.

Perfect fit to replace on cat tower.
Cats love to scratch and mine were destroyed. I found the right size very easy to replace and they came fast. Cats are happy again.

I am impressed that both sides can be used to get double use out of it

I used these two screwed together to make one tall scratching post for my six cats. They love it because they can reach really high up to scratch and stretch at the same time.

This product is really a great idea. It allows the buyer to re-use the base platform from an old, worn-out scratching post, and replace just the tattered post itself. Less trash, and more economical. These replacement scratching posts are not identical to my two worn-out posts. They have a larger diameter, a different height, and finer rope. However, these differences did not interfere in any way with attaching the new posts to the old base platforms. For me the most difficult part of that process was aligning the bolt with the opening in the end of the post, going through the base platform. But with a second set of hands helping (my seven-year-old grandson, bless his helpful heart), and enough patience, we made it work. The necessary bolts are included, along with an appropriately sized Allen key / hex wrench. The hardware, and the design of the posts, make it possible to connect the two posts vertically, making one very tall scratching post. That would probably be an advantage in incorporating the posts into a cat tree of some kind, but I am using them as two separate posts, each with its own base. My cat is usually reluctant to try anything new in the home, but I guess in this case she had been a while without a satisfactory claw work-out, because she was testing it out even before we were quite finished. In my opinion, this is an excellent idea, and a good product.

A pretty straight forwards replacement scratching post. Posts are sized as stated and includes mounting hardware, screws and a tool to install. The inner core is made of what looks to be ABS or similar durable plastic. I have a PAWZ brand Road Cactus Cat Tree and the post diameter is close enough that they’re a direct replacement. For my use, I’m actually going to be mounting these posts to the wall with some wood to make stand-alone scratching posts for the cat. Sisal is wrapped the entire length and secured with staples on the very top and bottom edges so kitty won’t get her nails snagged on it.Price for the two is very reasonable and while buying replacement cord and wrapping yourself is cheaper, if you don’t have an hour or two to spare this is by far the easier and better alternative.Cat approved.

These cat scratching replacements didnt fit my mini cat tree I actually figured out a strategic way to make it fit and used my brain on a way to make it work. I somehow made it work. Other then the wrong size and to lazy to return I love it really made my cat tree look brand new again. I love this cat tree so much I didnât want to replace it based on the scratching poles being so bad. My old scratching poles where torn up so bad. Much better looks brand new again.
