Nice set for the price
This set of PekGema nonstick pots and pans are pretty nice for the price and even come with a set of padded separators to put between them so they don’t get scratched up in the cabinet. They are pretty thin and light, but look nice and the handle is comfortable to hold. I got these for my daughter who is still using an old set of hand-me-down pots and pans some nonstick some not. I didn’t like the idea of her using old nonstick pans that might be flaking off the coating in her food so I jumped at the chance to get these for her. She really likes the design and the lightweight pans are easier for her to handle. Overall these pots and pans are nice and a good value for the price and are a great gift for someone moving into their first apartment or house.

Useful intro kit
Assembly is required for the PekGema Cookware set, but it wasn’t difficult to put the set together. I did have one hole not quite aligned correctly, so there was some struggle there. I don’t think I’ve ever run into an assembly-required device that didn’t have that as a problem. The kit did include a screwdriver to make sure it could be assembled.The pan and pot sizes included are fairly catch all for most household sets. Including a trivet and the silicon utensils is a good way to add a little extra value.Do note that ceramic coated pans should be used at low to medium heat because higher heats will degrade the coating.

Lovely Pot Set
I have only ever had black or dark gray pots so I was nervous about getting these and having them stain from the cooking I do but they were too beautiful to resist.I tried them out this Thanksgiving for everything I made and I am very happy to report that this is a great pot set. Nothing stained the pots (including the pasta sauce). They were extremely easy to clean. They are sooo elegant that I actually used some of them to serve in after I cooked.The only thing I dont like a bit is that the handles dont have like a silicone or some kind of coating that allows me to hold or take the cover over without a mitten. My older pots have that and it is sooooo helpful.Otherwise the set is great quality, easy to clean, good variety, and beautiful enough to keep out to display.

Wasn’t prepared to have to assemble these. Some screws don’t match the holes very well, but in the end it’s doable.The construction of these pans seems quite nicely thick. They heat pretty evenly, though take a bit of time, especially with the larger pieces, which will end up being a problem. More on that later.Nonstickiness works; it’s like everything else nonstick ceramic.The sizes in this set seem fair. Often you get a lot of sets that give you pieces that overlap a lot in their purpose, leading to less value in the set. Here, the only one I see being an issue is the 8″ frying pan. Had the 10″ been a 12″, it would have been a much better set and also given the 8″ more of a purpose.Of course, large sizes have the drawback of needing more time to preheat, and that’s the concern I have here. I love the shape of the saute pan but by being this large and needing more preheating time, it’s going to run more risk of degrading the nonstick. Not much to be done about this problem, as this is something all ceramic nonstick is at risk of.Something I also found weird was that the dutch oven has a spun metal pattern in the ceramic. It’s just barely noticeable to the touch too. I assume this was some sort of cutting of corners and not polishing the underlying metal. I’m not an expert on ceramic cookware construction to know why this piece was the only one that has this pattern while the other pans are completely smooth. The imperfection in the dutch oven doesn’t seem to do a thing to its cooking ability though, and it shouldn’t so long as the nonstickiness persists.
