I Just received the Piscifun aluminum pliers in the mail today and had to put some new hooks on my lures so I figured Iâd put it to work right away. Iâm very impressed and happy with the split ring tip and how much easier it makes doing this process. To top it off the strength and durability it has for as light weight as it is definitely makes it a perfect product for all fishermen and fisher women!! I also comes with a holster that the pliers fits in snugly along with a light weight cable to attach them so when youâre in the field or on the water you can loop it through your belt to make it easily accessible and you donât have to worry about loosing it in the water if you drop it. A great multi tool with a pliers that can be used to take the hook out of a fish of any size, the split ring tip that makes the process easier and faster, a crimping section so securely crimp leaders together and a line cutter that cuts smoothly through monofilament and braid with ease. Highly recommend, youâre not going to find a better product anywhere near this price.

Light weight and multi function
I got this set of pliers because I fly fish. First the last case is nice and sturdy and unlike ballistic nylon you donât have to worry about it drying. It all attaches to you. The case and pliers so if you drop them you donât loose them. Cutters are extremely sharp and replaceable. Super value for the money. Canât go wrong with a set of pliers like these

Love the pliers, wish the holster was a belt clip instead of loop
These are great to have at the ready when fishing. Not only for getting hooks out, but for managing swivels and other precise action requirements. Rust free is nice too since that will happen to any non-purpose driven pair of pliers you throw in the tackle box.My only gripe is the belt attachment on the holster is a loop, making it cumbersome to put on and take off. It would be nice if it were a durable, tight fitting clip instead, so you could remove and attach it to your belt at will. That’s the only thing keeping it from being a 5 star product in my eyes.

This will be the only review you need to read on these pliers. Grab your popcorn and get cozy, Iâm going to explain why I gave this product 5 stars, despite a few complaints. Summary: Great value and hold up to Saltwater and abuse. For the unabridged version, please see below.It occurred to me to write this because, after owning these for 18 months now, I finally noticed the cutters starting to weaken in cutting power. Specifically, they will only cut when I put the line to one end of the cutters and press down very hard. Although I was bummed, I was not shocked. As Iâll emphasize throughout, you will be hard-pressed to beat the value that these pliers offer at the price point theyâre at. Luckily, I was able to quickly locate the replacement cutters on the Piscifun website for under $9 shipped to me in FL which I was very happy about. I fish about 200 days per year, primarily saltwater, I use them to cut braid, mono, fluoro, and steel, and they have held up nicely. When I originally purchased them there wasnât a ton of pliers at this price point with credible reviews so I didnât have much of a choice. Trust me, I looked because I was not a huge fan of the pliers not having a different kind of grip, you know, the ones with the rubber around the handles that look like they will stay put even when wet and under the pressure of a 30â Snook thrashing at the water line. However, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised that they stay put and wonât easily slip out of your hand. If you look up some of the highest end pliers out there you will notice they share similar design look so I guess it has worked for others as well and probably reduced material cost to be offered at this affordable price. While these did come with a sheath and lanyard, I prefer to have a sheath with a clip that simply clips over the top of your pant/short line. These require you to put your pants belt through the loop which requires more work to get them off and, moreover, I donât typically like to wear belts when Iâm fishing, but again, at this price point I was very surprised they even came with the sheath and lanyard and have held up like they did. I will mention that after most saltwater outings they were rinsed with freshwater. That is obviously a huge difference maker, but you should be doing that anyway. Iâve also used these on quite a few occasions for opening split rings to replace old trebles and they have performed as expected. You will also notice I gave these five stars. That is because I believe you must rate the product according to value, which is really hard to beat as, at the time of the review, weâre on sale for $19! Other pliers around the same price point have since entered the market. One that comes to mind are the Kast King pliers with the orange rubber-looking grips. A fishing buddy of mine actually purchased them very recently and they have held up great so far, and while I personally like the feel of those better, it all comes down to preference and I am near to tell you that these Piscifun pliers are a great value buy and if youâve had your eye on these then give them a shot.

Anything this brand makes out of machined aluminum seems to be awesome. Based on my previous purchases, my expectations before purchasing these pliers was high. A few years ago, I had purchased two of their fly reels and they have held up nicely. The machine work, components and finish on those reels still look great. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell that my new pliers also seem to be at the same level of quality. Honestly, I just donât know how they offer such a high quality product made out of hard anodized, machined aluminum, and sell it for under $30.The machine work is precise. The design fits comfortably in the hand and they are very light in weight. There are more features in the jaws of these pliers than I will probably ever use. The replaceable cutting blades were sharp right out of the box and the split ring opener at the tip of the jaws is a brilliant idea. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and look forward to their use on my saltwater fishing adventures.

I bought these pliers to keep in my bass boat. I got tired of fumbling around with rusty, frozen steel pliers that even though I keep them in my glove box always seem to get wet and are junk in a matter of weeks. Upon receiving my new Piscifun pliers I was immediately impressed with the quality of the materials and the design. The jaw contains a split ring opener, two different size groves for hook holding, a crimper and an amazingly sharp line cutter that chops through 65lb braided line with ease. They are very lightweight due to the aluminum construction yet feel very strong due to the heavy pivot point in the middle which makes them very easy to use. They also come with a nice carrying case and a lanyard with a clip. I mounted the case of mine to the butt seat post in my boat with a zip tie, so they are always where I need them, and thanks to the laynard they will always be right there and not getting kicked or thrown overboard.

Dont know what negative reviews are about!! For the money they are great quality. Nice and light weight very functional. I got black with rubber sheath gives them nice tactical look. Can clip on belt and it rotates! For this price they are far better than i expected i would not hesitate to buy again for myself or as a gift. Very nice packaging. Would i get the nylon sheath probably not but the rubber sheath style is sweet as far as looks and build quality!!! 5 stars all the way.

These pliers have everything you need as a fisherman and the cutters are razor sharp and replaceable. They cut braided line like itâs nothing. One thing I would change is add a molle compatible attachment to the case to mount it on the Piscifun fishing backpack instead of carrying on belt.

Solid 4/5. Good length. Enough leverage to get hooks out of bass and pike. Still cuts my braid.Heavily used, fish twice a week at least. Still holding up. Would recommend the longer length.
