I ordered this stand to help me while I’m reading eBooks as I have a nerve condition that causes neck pain when I look down at my phone or tablet for too long.This stand is perfect for reading or watching videos on my tablet while I’m sitting or lying in bed with no neck pain. It is easy to adjust to the right height and angle, but holds my tablet steady without sinking. I have used this product every day since I got it and I couldn’t love it more! The only possible negative I have is that the spring that holds the clamp on the tablet itself is very strong which makes it difficult to put my tablet into the holder without a good amount of leverage (it’s quite hard to do while lying down or if one of your arms isn’t fully mobile) but that’s also a good thing as the clamp holds the tablet very securely no matter what position the arm is in.Overall, I love how sturdy and useful the stand is, especially for the price!

Base isn’t heavy enough for a 10″ iPad
This works well, and for the price I can’t complain. My wife has been using this one daily for months and it’s had no durability issues. My wife says it’s one of her favorite gifts that I’ve ever given her. I didn’t really buy it as a gift, but hey she loves it so who am I to argue.As others have mentioned, the base isn’t heavy enough by itself to stand firmly. This one sits next to my wife’s recliner so she can recline back and read without straining. The stand tips over when extending her 10″ iPad (no case/cover) out to reading level over her recliner (its not an oversized chair, just a standard sized lay-z-boy). Initially we fixed this by filing a gallon jug with water and setting it on the base (that’s a little over 8lbs). I found a bit more elegant solution at a yard sale: I bought one lonely 10lb barbell plate for $1 and just slid it down over-top of the pole. Mischief managed.I bought a more expensive gooseneck stand along with this one. Both stands do their jobs very well. The more expensive one has a 14lb off-set base and stiff but poseable neck (without pinch points) that stands very securely on its own. The base of the gooseneck model as it turns out, doesn’t fit under our recliners though, so it’s difficult to get it close enough to your face while laying back, whereas the base on this one slides right under the side of the recliner allowing it into a perfectly comfortable position.

I bought this because I was having neck surgery and I am still using it to this day. I wish I had gotten this thing sooner. I do wish the bottom part of the “pole” didn’t swivel as much when I move it. It tends to swing from the base plate and then if I set it down wrong it will tip over and fall. There may be an adjustable bolt or something underneath that I haven’t looked for yet to remedy this, if so I will update. Every part of this is adjustable. I have a Kindle Fire 7 and it worked great. I can have it hovering over my face in bed and read to my hearts content. Or I can be in a recliner and have it set facing me. I also bought a remote clicker to complete the perfect setup. This would work great with exercising also. Very happy to have found this and ordered it.

I read through a few reviews and I was a little hesitant on getting this because of the reviews on the base. I love this think though!! I think it has great value for the price it is. So far it seems sturdy and itâs very easy to move around from my bedroom to my living room. I like the design of it because it can easily go into a corner when Iâm not using it, and it comes apart super easy so it seems portable. I do a lot of travel where I have to drive so this is something that I could easily take down and put back up super quickly.All in all I love this thing already!!

I have a 11â iPad Pro in a heavy, rigid case, and saw too many negative reviews of stands with lower ratings. I decided to stay away from anything with less than 4.5 overall. It was a relief when this one turned out to be so well-engineered.Highlights:- Joints are tight and sturdy- holds position with no sag or wobble, even binge-watching movies and shows.- Comes with a rubber âbrake padâ insert for the ball joint. This works just as well with a small âphone, as it does with my iPad.- Friction controls at all hinge points lock and hold position without excessive force.- Pivot for side to side adjustment holds well, but still allows you to swing the arm to one side when needed.- Clamp has open ends. See photo w/my iPhone 13 Pro- this is important, as you can access the charge port and power button regardless of where theyâre located on the device.- Surprisingly flexible. It works equally well with my iPhone, Kindle Paperwhite and 10.3â Scribe, and my 11â iPad despite its large, heavy armoured case.Hints & suggestions:- Since the brake pad works equally smoothly with small and large devices, consider it a must-have.- If your device sags, try gently tightening the hinge adjusters or ball clamp. Donât overdo it- excessive force is unnecessary.- Be strategic about placement. Start with a level surface, and make sure to place the stand so the foot is no more than 45 degrees off-axis from the arm, to prevent tipping.- For extra stability, place a weight on the generously-sized foot. I used the round base from an old standard lamp on mine.

I had to add a 5kg dumbbell to make the base sturdier. The tablet also wobbles if you use it for coloring or taking notes. You can hold it with the other hand and that makes it more stable of course.I also didn’t get any assembly instructions in the box and couldn’t find them online. I also think I received an extra part because it doesn’t fit anywhere. If the seller provides the instructions, maybe the wobble issue might get solved.This is slightly pricier than I expected for the functionality, but the other stands I’ve tried for the same price are worse and I had to return them.The stand arm is pretty good, and angles/movement is flexible enough for most use cases. I think with lighter devices it will be even better.I’m returning it because of the tilt. I’ve tried various angles and pivot adjustments but I can’t seem to be able to solve this issue. I was really hoping this stand would work.

Easy to assemble with no extra screws or tools needed. Good height for beds and couches & it is very easy to adjust the height. The base plate is solid and heavy which makes it very stable. The adjustable knobs are easy to tighten and loosen. Though would need to be careful, as the knobs and the grip are made of plastic. (I hope the company considers selling replacement pieces!) Holds my 11″ iPad pro easily. Not idle for using while using the pen as it can shakes a bit.
