Excellent reformer for home – easy to set up!
I bought this reformer after attending a few reformer pilates classes and falling in love with the practice! I researched several different machines and after weighing all the options, I pulled the trigger on purchasing this one. And I’m so glad I did because it is well worth the price point.The set up is pretty straightforward and simple. It took me about 30 minutes to do it by myself. I liked the idea of the fold away function, but it’s a bit more complicated to fold it up. So I have it laid open in our closet room. It has the shoulder adjustments for taller/shorter people and I love the addition of the large footboard, which you can take on or off easily. The padding is decent and enough for me to feel comfortable during my workouts. For reference – I am about110 llbs and 5’2. My husband used this machine and said it felt good for him as well. He is 175 and 5’11. The springs are my favorite part – there are several different spring options and it’s so versatile.I have been using it 3x a week for 2 months now and the machine has held up in perfect condition!

Good value and worth the price.
I feel it’s a true 4.5, but Amazon does not have that as a rating. It’s def solid and does everything I was expecting. I was able to set it up myself with some difficulty but it was easy enough. The foldability is not the best but doable.Having said that, this is not going to be the $3000 machines you use in the studios and it does have some noise but not bothersome.For $400 range, this is probably as good of a machine has it can get. I would have gladly paid $200 more for a better quality one/upgraded but from my ( Amazon) research, they are either is $400 range for over $1100 range.Overall, I am happy with the purchase. This is what I would expect from a $400 machine.

I got this after a lot of research into which reformer would be best for me. Since itâs not a cheap or small item I wanted to make sure I got a good one right off the bat.First there is a smell from the straps. Only the straps, not sure why. If I had to describe it I would say a slightly rotten, moldy, plastic smell.Also, the adjustable foot bar, the padded foam part is squished and deformed in places. I thought it was due to the way it was packed so I assumed it would go back to normal shape but nope. Stayed dented.Thereâs also scratches along the frame. Itâs on the white part so very visible. I thought it was just something rubbed on but it doesnât come off when you try.One of the end caps on the resistance bands is also missingâ¦

Excellent piece of equipment for my home gym
I have never taken a class but have enjoyed mat pilates at home and was really interested in trying reformer pilates. No classes near me so I thought this was worth just buying instead of traveling to take a class first. As a beginner it’s been great for me and I haven’t even used every function after using it 6 days a week for several months. I’ve enjoyed the endless variability in the workouts. This machine was easy to set up, easy for me to move around my crowded basement and can be folded for storage. It was a great value and I’m impressed with it’s stability. I’m 5’4″ and about 125lbs and my husband is 6’4″ and 230lbs and we can both use this machine. I really enjoy it most for doing core which is something I usually hate but this makes it fun. I do mostly strength training but this uses different muscles while still being challenging.

Worth the price!
I am a Pilates instructor & I wanted something I could use at home when I did not want to go to the studio & not break the bank. I have to say it is pretty awesome! There are few things I do not love, but for what I use it for, it works perfect & I am getting a great at home Pilates workout. My least favorite thing about the reformer is the Shoulder Blocks do not screw into the reformer. I like you can adjust it but I would like them to screw in. I also would like to have a better way to adjust the straps but I worked it out. I love the material of the carriage & platform under the foot bar. I can stand on it & feel secure. I also wish I could change the springs easier without having to take off the little foot platform, but all in all well worth it!! I assembled it myself but it would have been easier with two people, it was quite heavy! I have used it every day since my purchase!

I love using this at college! It is quiet, comfortable, the adjustable pulley height and rope length was so easy to figure out. Easy to put together, great quality. Definitely worth the price. Folding it is harder than i thought, but itâs small enough to store in my college apartment!

Disappointed
The machine was super easy to assemble and works fantastic. I was just very disappointed in the condition I received it. The box was severely damaged and had a part sticking out. This part was hard to assemble as it was bent because it was sticking out of the box at a strange angle. The paint on the reformer was also scratched a bit. The foot rest was bent and indented. Lastly, I was missing a part in my box. The actual reformed seems great and I was super excited, but I am very disappointed in the condition 🙁
