Truth Be Told –
Impressive.
I expected this pilates block to give under my weight and throw me on my behind. This thing is so sturdy though. It stays stiff and solid regardless of what’s on it. It’s made of quality materials and the cover wipes off easily. It’s lightweight and I use it to sit “on the ground” because what knees are gonna get me back up otherwise.My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don’t want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I do tell it like it is and I am not influenced to provide feedback that isn’t based on facts or my own experience. Great for a variety of things but overpriced
This is a versatile box. Even though it’s made for pilates, it could easily be used in other exercise areas like yoga. I even sat on it a few times during a meditation session… and would consider it to be a good size and functional in a variety of situations. However, despite it’s versatility and sturdiness, I would consider this to be a bit of overpriced.

Great for Chair Yoga Too!
I have nothing but good things to say about PILATES, as I went to a studio in Atlanta for back issues at the recommendation of my physician and it kept me healthy, flexible, and able to continue my triathlon career. Although I now live far away from PILATES studios in a rural area, I still do the warmup exercises and also returned to Yoga to keep me racing.This box is something that’s terrific for using with the Reformer apparatus, but it’s also invaluable to me as I use it for postures as support and a way to help just get me up off of the floor, which seems to be more of a challenge over year, no matter how many miles I swim-bike-run.This 24″x14″x8″ box is a terrific exercise aid when you need some support or something to push off of instead of using foam rollers the way I have been for some time. The box is actually a “pleather” covered block of high impact foam that is strong but lightweight. The covering can be removed with a full-length zipper for cleaning or replacement with a different density. I use hard rollers for my stretching routines, and this foam is a little more compliant, but plenty solid to give you the support you need.And there are so many ways to incorporate it into your routines. Great for balancing work, or a platform for situps, for leg kicks, for chair yoga, and many other stretches and exercises.OVERALL – Sometimes the simplest equipment is the best equipment in the Gym. Keeper!

Pricy for a Foam Block
This absolutely is what it advertises itself as, I just think I wasn’t really paying enough attention when I ordered it. I expected some bells and whistles with a price point at nearly $100, but I didn’t get any. I got exactly what was advertised, which is a large foam block. I feel like there have GOT to be more affordable options. That being said it is indeed sturdy, and seems of good quality – it’s just that it’s just a foam block.

This is a very nice quality, sturdy Pilates box. It can support my large body and is comfortable to lay on. It is heavy but has a handle that makes it easy to carry around.

Great at-home pilates or step/jump box!
This is an awesome little at-home pilates/stretch/exercise box!I’ll be honest, I don’t have a “pilates machine” like the ad shows, however….. I can recognize a solid weight supporting jump box and this is it! Compact size and dual carrying handles (one on each side). Beautiful PU style leather on the exterior, smooth zipper (not that you’d ever need to open it) and weight supportive solid foam on the interior. Same style & design as my son’s larger 20-24-30 box, just in a much more user-friendly footprint space!I’ll give you reference…. I’m 5’10” tall, weigh 210 lbs and this little box held my weight stepping and jumping on it without weakening or whining in any way. This is a solid whatever-you-want-to-do-with-it box!Great for stretching. Great for step ups and jumps. Makes a soft and supportive meditation seat. Really, you name it. Get creative and figure out a way to make yourself stretch or sweat, ’cause this box will take it!!

Solid construction and does the job!
I use this with my Pilates reformer and I’m very pleased with the box. I am plus size and had concerns that it was as strong as it stated (up to 800 lbs) but fortunately, it is holding up well with a solid construction. And the price is incredibly reasonable, just take a look at name brands and you’ll come running back for this one. It did lose a star as the padding on top is very thin. I realize my studio had more expensive boxes so better padding but just be aware it’s not well-padded.
