We had been looking for a wireless solar security camera for our house because we didn’t want the expense of hiring an electrician to run power to a camera. We saw this unit and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! The front of our house is north-facing so it doesn’t get a ton of direct sunlight. Also, we live in New England when sunshine is scarce and the days are short in the late fall through early spring. Despite all of that, this camera has worked perfectly since the day we installed it. Even while we were on vacation and it was raining/snowing back home, we were getting notifications and videos of deliveries arriving on our front porch. The video quality is excellent and you can even communicate through the camera. One BIG bonus for us is that there is no subscription fee or service contract with this camera. Once you install it—it’s yours with zero monthly fees. Great little device. We will definitely order more for the other corners of our house.
