Works – but had to make some adjustments.
I didnât even know they made these but discovered console pet car/booster seats while lookingfor some kind of bed my dog could ride in in the front seat. My dog weighs 12 lbs and this seatis perfect for her. I was thinking it might be too narrow and confining, but she seems to be verycomfortable and can lay down in it as well. My only complaint is the white fleece lining. The basecover can be washed but the rest of the bed probably wonât stay as snow white as the âbrand newâ white. Dogs and white anything donât go together. I do like that you can unsnap the pillow part and turn it down for a headrest although our dog preferred to have her head elevated with the pillow in the up position. Also it seems to be sturdy and the sides are reinforced so they donât collapse and hopefully will hold their shape. Since we have three vehicles Iâm having to adjust this seat for all three. The easiest way for me was to put (elastic) extensions on the straps and tether them where they would be most secure. I used âSâ hooks for the front straps, (the ones that are supposed to go around the console cover) and secured them under the front seats. Then I made extensions (elastic) for the back straps and secure them to the car seat latches already installed in the vehicle. It does take a few minutes to adjust the straps, but I feel it is more secure that just securing it with the console straps. The bed seems to be very snug and the bed stays put, although we can’t really access the console. But this works for us and is Sadie approved.

Sturdier than expected
Quality item and looks pretty good in my car, so much so that I actually leave it on the console all the time and use it to hold my umbrella or purse when my furball is not coming for the ride. Although she weighs less than 2 lbs, she does spend a bit of time standing on her hind legs and resting along the walls and they stay put, no collapsing, super easy to install . She usually zonks out within 5 minutes of being in the car and if she could talk, she would tell me to give it 5 stars. I like the sturdy, removable floor that is soft and furry on one side and water resistant on the other side. I usually wrap the removable floor with a wee pad and reinstall it … just in case 😉

Perfect for my shih tzu
My puppy lives his car seat. He loves being in the middle of us. I guess he feels safe because he lays and falls asleep right away. The quality is good. It’s very soft. Once it’s strapped, it is very secure. Will definitely buy another one this one is old. Love it.

Very cute car seat
I am so torn about this car seat. When I first received it, I was in absolute love with it. It is a gorgeous car seat. It’s very soft, very plush, very comfortable, super easy to install in car. It’s perfect size for My Car. It’s the perfect size for my 10 week old 4 pound Shih Tzu, however, the downside to this is we clipped the safety strap to his harness, tightened it as far as it could go, and he still able to completely jump out of it and managed to jump behind it and was hanging, which was a little scary because I was driving luckily my kiddos were in the car and able to grab him. I still feel that it is a great car seat and will be good once he’s fully trained and understands the car seat, but you definitely cannot rely on the strap that connects to the safety harness to keep them in it at least when they are this little I don’t know about bigger dogs

Perfect for my Pom
My Pom is 8 lbs and sheâs down in it better than the Pom in the pic. She likes to put her head on the folded part on the front. I wasnât comfortable with the Velcro straps on the bottom keeping it in place so I extended the strap and was able to wrap it around the headrest on the rear console. Iâm not saying the Velcroâs wouldnât keep it in place, but I like the extra protection as a safe alternative. Sheâs happy she can sit up and see through the windshield and side windows to keep an eye on me if I have to get out when getting gas. I like that she isnât putting her feet on my doors and nose prints on the windows, plus it keeps her in a safer place than in my lap or hopping around in the front seat. The optional strap is great when I have to fasten her in with her harness, but sheâd easily chew through it in second if she wanted to.

It is contained within a lined fun fur cover with a waterproof pad.Upgrade thoughts—-1. add a solid or stiff insert to the seat back for retained shape.2. add a deeper 2 inch cushion, like memory foam, and increase the height .This was a good choice, looks like quality…glad I ordered it….andPutting it in the car and Frodo is going Car Ride to the Park.Thank you.Oct. 7/24

I was worried it would be cheaply made however I am very happy with the carrier. It secures to my middle counsel in my car and two other safety straps that attach to the back of the front seats. My puppy was not sure at first, but she quickly adjusted and loves it. Super soft as well.
