Worked great for about 7 monthsâ¦
Then I started getting device offline notices. It would lose its connection to the app and WiFi off and on even though the connection light on the feeder was solid like itâs supposed to be. If it was offline during one of my cats feeding times it would not feed. After a couple weeks of this it went offline for good and I can not reset it. The connection light stays lit up solid and will not blink allowing me to reconnect. I tried unbinding the device from the app to reset everything but now I canât get a blinking connection light to reconnect. So itâs not even connected on my app anymore. Itâs useless now. I have to press the button on the feeder to dispense food.Edit. I fixed it and changed my stats from 2 to 5. If this happens to you I will report what I did. I unplugged it and took the batteries out. Rebooted my phone. Deleted or unsynched my feeder from the app. Then restarted the connection process. You might not need to delete your feeder from the app because if you do that you have to reschedule everything. I think it didnât work before when unplugging because it went to backup power. Make sure you take the batteries out and wait a few minutes. Also restart your phone since that only takes minutes

I got this feeder and it seemed to be perfect for my needs; to feed an outdoor cat. It was easy to install and operated as described with my phone. My cat was not scared of it. Six hours later while I was away from home, my phone notified me that the unit was on battery power and four minutes later it was offline. When I arrived home, I found that the wildlife in my neighborhood had “ripped” it from the power source and carried the feeder off. I could not find the feeder anywhere. I live in a rural area and my house borders the woods where bear are seen often. I can only believe that a bear took it due to the feeder’s size. And it wasn’t stolen since my camera in the front of my house didn’t pick up anyone. I didn’t think the way the food was stored in the feeder that it could be smelled but evidently it can. BEWARE if purchasing for OUTDOOR use.

Four overall star rating because i wish it told me each time my cat went to eat food like the water feeder does and because of the other ratings. It was easy to put together and start using, the buttons aren’t explained but i figured it out reading the pamphlet. I am not sure what kind of portion measurements they use. I don’t think they are cup sizes but i use the 2 1/2 cup portion twice a day for my cat, i was using the 3 1/2 and my cat wouldn’t eat sometimes so it would fill up quick. I am not sure if it has a feature that it stops feeding when the bowl is full.

I love this so much! I had an old automatic feeder that just randomly stopped working. This one was so worth the money and the app is super friendly to use and helps keep me on track with filters and food levels. Highly recommend!!!

One of our cats has turned into an aggressive eater in his prime senior years. Eats anything and everything he can find in the house. The vets are stumped and we are stumped. Love the personal recording feature! Does ounces or grams. Schedule option & feed on demand. Took a few days for my cat to catch on but now when she hears my voice recording and sheâs in another room, she goes running! When youâre gone a couple days, much better than leaving an unlimited bowl of food for them to consume. only thing I didnât care for was it needed to be plugged in for the Wi-Fi to work but it does have battery back up. I had to use an extension cord to keep it in my kitchen.
