Nina is obsessed with this ball
Nina (Simone) is not quite two and a very curious and playful pup. I can only throw a toy or ball so many times if I want to get some work done. Except now this ball absolutely captures her attention and she loves it! What I love is that even if it goes under something it usually finds its way back out and there are no batteries to replace! Her sister Ella (Fitzgerald) is more of a couch potato. She was only interested for the first few days, now she just watches Nina go crazy with it. Nina is about 25 lbs of muscle – pit bull and chihuahua rescue with a lot of other breeds thrown in. I know several people’s dog destroyed it but even though Nina plays very hard with it, it is doing great and the outside skin intact. I wish there was a dog soccer team. She is so good as a goalie or just batting it across the floor. I put it in her bed with a cover thrown over it and she will work it for 10 minutes or more until she gets it out, in the meantime it is teasing her with its noise and flashing lights. I can spend 10 minutes just laughing out loud watching her play. We let her have it for about 1/2 hour twice a day, so it still stays fresh for her, and she lets me know, quite loudly, when that time comes. We bought a second one for my husband’s home office which is in a separate building and then we bought one for a friend’s puppy. I will say that one of the balls just stopped holding the charge after several months. I emailed the company and they sent a new ball back within 5 days. They did not even ask for the old one back so great customer service. I can highly recommend this toy. I will try to get a video of her playing and post it.
Update: It’s been about a year or so and Nina still loves her ball and never tires of it. We have had an issue again with a ball just stopping to charge. These have a one year guarantee so I messaged the Seller again and they responded quickly and I received new balls. Hooray for Petdroid.

Dog loves but drives me insane
This toy has two different modes rolling on its own or bouncing around on its own. Very entertaining for the dogs and keeps them busy but I have some cons. The ball struggles to roll on carpet but it is very annoying when it bounces on the hard floors.. it took two seconds for my dog to destroy the cover it came with and the ball itself is very hard plastic the my dog struggles to carry without the cover. It is also very noisy but the ball itself is durable to chewing. So I like it cause it does keep my dog entertained but it definitely has some flaws.

Not the Fetch-Fest I Hoped For
I had high hopes for the PetDroid Interactive Dog Ball, especially with the newly upgraded features and promises of durable, motion-activated fun. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations for my furry friend. Here’s why I’m giving it 2 stars.
Promising Features, Lackluster Results
The idea behind this toy is fantastic: a durable, motion-activated ball that would entertain my dog without much effort on my part. The ball is supposed to roll around on its own, keeping my dog engaged and active. However, in practice, it just didn’t capture my dog’s interest.
Durability
I will give credit where it’s due: the ball is well-made and seems durable. It can withstand some rough handling, which is great for more aggressive chewers. Unfortunately, durability doesn’t mean much if your dog won’t play with it in the first place.
Motion Activation
The motion activation feature is hit or miss. While the ball does move around as advertised, it didn’t seem to move in a way that intrigued my dog. He gave it a sniff, watched it for a minute, and then walked away, unimpressed. I tried multiple times to get him interested, but he simply wasn’t having it.
Lack of Engagement
The biggest issue is that the ball just didn’t engage my dog at all. It might be more suitable for a different personality type or breed, but for my pooch, it was a total flop. He’s usually quite playful and curious, so I was surprised by his lack of interest.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the PetDroid Interactive Dog Ball might work for some dogs, but it was a miss for mine. If your dog is easily entertained by automated toys, it might be worth a try. However, based on my experience, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend it.

If you decide to give it a shot, just be prepared for the possibility that your dog might not find it as entertaining as you hope. For us, it’s back to the drawing board for a more engaging toy.

A mi perrito le gustó mucho

Ball came fully/or close to it charged, Puppy went spastic, it was so funny to watch her. The tennis ball cover was the only way my toy poodle could carry the ball as the ball is larger than I thought. LOL. But for us as a family we thought the ball was value for money. Charges on the computer, so it is easy no batteries or time consuming disassembly to get it charged. The charge is pretty quick.
We are very happy with this item. The dog loves it! Thank you.
