A warm spot for my cat
I have multiple indoor/outdoor cats that all come inside at night and sleep on the couches and cat tree. But one of our cats isn’t allowed to sleep inside anymore because she doesn’t like sharing litter boxes with all the other cats (who are all a part of the same litter, but not related to her) and pees in innapropriate places instead. So I set up a special place for her in the garage with her own litter box, bed, and food dishes, and she seemed fine with that arrangement for the last couple months. Lately the temperature has been dropping drastically at night and the garage feels like an ice box when I go out there in the morning, and I felt bad that I was making her sleep out there. So I got this pet heating pad for her and set it up in the corner of the garage in a sheltered area, and she took to it immediately. The next morning she was curled up on it when I went out there and didn’t immediately want to leave it to dart inside like she normally does. Now I’m not too worried about leaving her out there at night anymore since she has a cozy warm spot to sleep.The heating pad is simple to use and a good size for a large cat or tiny dog. It has a flexible cord that has a protective casing on it to prevent animals from chewing on it and getting shocked. The attached remote allows you to choose between 9 heat settings, and also allows you to set a timer if you want it to shut off after a certain amount of time. It is water proof as well, so no worries if a wet pet decides to lie on it. It’s a great solution for providing a safe warm spot for your critters when you don’t want them to freeze their little tails off outside.

Slow heat up time, doesn’t always work, had to convince the dog to use it.
I have a heating pad in a bedroom upstairs, that the dog loves. He walks in the room, sits on the mat, and waits for me to turn it on. He loves it. He will stay there for hours. I ordered this pad to go in my kitchen. My first put it in my dog crate, where he loves to sleep when the floor is cold. He would not stay on it. I put it on his bed, on the floor, on the couch. He would not stay on it by himself. Finally, after putting it back on the floor,I started sitting on it, and inviting him over. As soon as I left it, he did too. My kid started sitting on it for about an hour each day, with him. It has taken over seven days, for him to decide, that he’s willing to lay down on it and sleep on it on his own.This mat does not always work when I turn it on. Sometimes I have to turn it off, and then back on. This mat always defaults to the highest temperature setting, which is too much for my little dog. And I have to turn it down to around four. I actually took a permanent marker and wrote the temperature settings on the back of it, because he likes it right around 105°. This way, the kids can turn it onto the correct temperature too.The timer feature does work. I typically set it for 12 hours, and that last most of the day as we are up and about. I did have to cover it with one of his blankets. I plan on sewing two of his little dollar store blankets together, to make a covering that I can slide this into. Why did this not come with a soft washable covering?

Bunnies Love This
This product came well packaged and undamaged. We used this underneath our bunny cage because our room was getting cold in the winter. She loves this heating pad, and sleeps directly on top of it every night. It doesn’t get to a burning temperature or anything, so it is safe for pets. Overall, this works great.

Mediocre at best
At its highest setting it barely gets very warm. So that’s a plus you don’t have to worry about burning your pet. The waterproof plastic around the pad through is noisy and my dogs did not like to step on it or lay on it. I would need to put this under a blanket for them not to care and then I’m not sure it will be warm enough to help much.
