I have tried so many brushes and a doggie vacuum. But I gave up and started taking my fur-baby (a Border-Pit rescue) that I have had for almost 10yrs now to the vet or local pet store because she hates baths, being brushed or deshedded, and leave her âborder-pit glitterâ â¨â¨â¨ all over my house. ð¤£ð𤣠I thought I would never find anything that she wouldnât run from or put up a fight for me to use on her myself until I found this brush and it works perfectly on my Dyson animal ball.This brush has been the answer to my prayers. She sits patiently as I brush her and as funny as it seems now when I stop she keeps nudging me for more. LOL

A tad hard to place, but cheaper than a whole system
These tools attached well to the vacuum after a bit of a learning curve. They performed ok but if you have a massive dog, they might struggle. They were compatible with my Dyson vacuum. Overall I recommend them as they are only a fraction of the price of a specialized grooming vacuum.

Itâs summer and my King is shedding constantlySo I splurged and got the grooming tool. I did not need another vacuum do I just got the attachments for 1/10 the price. In less than a week I get a cubic foot of dog hairs !!Excellent vacuum attachment for pet owners !!

While the product has an awesome concept, there is a loss of suction at the connection joint shown.It works okay other wise. My dog tolerates the vacuum well, so she was a great tester for it.Dog is a Great Pyrenees, so all the fur. It removes some loose top coat but definitely doesn’t get the under coat.It feels okay quality wise, just that one fitting isn’t great. Would be a great value if it truly fit well.

I wish I could convince the cats not to bolt, but the loud machine needs to get a little too close for comfort in order to reach them with the hose and attachment. Nothing to report, unfortunately, but it is a creative addition, just wish I could utilize it!

Really easy to use, and works perfect to groom my dog, but she doesn’t like it, mostly because she despises and feels scared being around vacuum.Though this is awesome kit, but I couldn’t use much.Price, $25.99, is reasonable.

Cool idea, well-built, but some MAJOR design flaws
I have a Dyson V8 animal and this attachment fits it perfectly. It’s fast and easy to set up, and it seems very well made. The trigger lock is a little loose and tricky to engage, but for the most part it functions as expected.Now, I really wanted to love this. I have a long-haired Ragdoll call that is constant need of brushing, and her hair gets everywhere. I have tried a lot of things, and was really hoping would be my final solution. But there are two big issues I have with it.First is somewhat particular to my animal. She spooks at sounds, which is not super unusual for pets. So the need for this to be ‘always on’ is tricky, because as soon as I turn it on and go to get her, she’s already hiding. If I start with her on my lap, as soon as I go to fiddle with the finicky trigger lock, she catches on and runs. If I could hold her with one hand, and turn the brush on and off with the other, I could calm her while grooming. But because I have to turn it on first, and leave it on, it scares her. So for animals that dislike loud sounds, this might not be the best option.The second, and the truly critical flaw for me, is the brush mechanism itself. In order to get the bristles out, you have to continuously engage a button that pushes out the bristles. When you release the button, the bristles retract, allowing you to collect the hair. This is the reverse of almost every other cat/dog hair brush I have used – normally you push the button to clear the hair, not to use the brush. There is no logical reason I can think of that this is designed this way. Holding down this hard-to-press button makes the actual grooming part nearly impossible, and very tiring on the arms. And it defeats the purpose of having a hands free ‘always on’ vacuum, since you are always having to hold down a button anyway. I’d much rather this button control the vacuum, or even just work in reverse so that I groom my cat fatigue-free.All-in-all I think this is a great idea that just missed it’s mark. I might try taping down the handheld button with duct tape and give it another go, but as it’s designed it just does not work well for me.
