It was pretty easy to put together, and it works well, my new kitten started scratching it almost immediately, and taking naps on the flower. This is a great way to stop your cat from scratching furniture. I was hesitant to buy it because I didnât want to waste my money if the cat didnât like it because they can be picky but she loves it. Itâs sturdy and holds up during zoomies, affordable and simple/cute. I put a little cat nip on it to ease her into it and she went crazy for it. Itâs now her favorite place to nap and play around with. I was worried it wasnât going to look good in my living room but honestly it blends in and itâs pretty cute. The toys attatched to it are a plus!!!! She lovesssss them! Also it took legit 10 seconds to put together. I highly recommend this scratching post over any other overpriced one. This does exactly what itâs supposed to do.

Perfect Addition for My Cat and My Living Room!
I recently decided to take in a foster cat who will be with me for about 2-4 weeks. I wanted to get something that would let them be cats but also not break the bank. Although I potentially could have gotten some sort of scratcher from the Humane Society, I wanted to leave those for people that truly couldn’t get their own supplies. I also wanted to get something that would match more with what I already have in my living room which is primarily pink and florals.You can say that this scratching post really fits the bill!I had some reservations about the sturdiness of the post have building it. The bottom of the base is made so that it actually folds in half before you put the middle post on for shipping purposes probably. My concern was that the post would fall if my cat tackled it too hard. Thankfully, my foster is actually a really small cat (about 5-7 lbs) so she doesn’t move the post too much when she plays. However, I can definitely see a bigger cat maybe pushing it around more.One other thing – not sure if this is just mine or maybe this is how they’re all made but the rope around the pole is stapled on. Since the pole is made of two parts, the rope ends in the places where the two parts meet. Therefore, either due to sloppiness or just how they planned to make it, the staples actually show/can be easily accessed through the rope. Again, I don’t think that it would be much of an issue since my cat is smaller and has tiny paws, but if your cat is the complete opposite/very curious, I would just keep a careful eye on them when playing.For these reasons, I did have to take off one star because I think that there was just a couple of missed opportunities for the product quality wise. However, this was literally $20 when I bought it (11/14/24) – you can’t get anything like it in person in store and definitely nothing as cute. Trust me, I went to a lot of stores.Attached is a video of said cat testing out the scratcher, just to give you an idea of how nice the scratcher is and also how well it holds up. I think that she really enjoys the little ball thing on a spring a lot (and your cat will too!)
