CONTROLS – Speed knobs adjust from 0 to 12.5 mph and incline knobs adjust grades from 0% to 12.5%. It features a jump button, on-screen shortcuts, a one-touch button to wake, stop, and put the Tread to sleep, and a removable safety key.
SAFETY FEATURES – Clip on the safety key while using and know the belt will quickly stop if detached. Avoid unintended use by removing safety key after your workout and storing it out of reach. Lock your Tread with a passcode when not in use.

Peloton Tread: Exactly what I needed
Initial reaction: This treadmill is exactly what I was looking for: solid, professional quality construction, simple and obvious controls, and great programming to make training more productive and enjoyable.Compared to consumer-grade treadmills, this Peloton Tread is like a Harley versus a Honda: both might get you where you need to go, but the Peleton will do it with more style and grace. The speed and incline controls are simple and straightforward, and very precise: control your speed in .1 mph increments, incline .1% at a time. The oversize high-res video screen’s viewing angle can be adjusted easily and stays in place where you put it – if you’ve ever wrestled with one that was fixed in place, or 1990’s era resolution, or flopped around, you know how much that matters.The deck feels solid and belt movement is smooth, although I will need a lot more miles to know whether that’s true at speed and distance.My Amazon delivery included setup and placement – a good idea since the assembled unit weighs 400+ pounds. It took the delivery and assembly team about an hour to put it together, test and calibrate, and make sure everything worked as expected.This is a significant purchase, and you can buy treadmills for less money… But the old adage “you get what you pay for” is clearly a factor with this Peloton Tread. It’s a good size – not small, but space-efficient; it’s quiet; and sturdy enough that I expect years of good performance. Highly recommended.90 day update: no corrections to post, everything written above is still good, and I am very happy with the Tread purchase. I have noticed a couple things that might be worth sharing; they’re probably not going to change your decision, but hopefully will inspire Peloton to further improve the product:- I’m a “miles, not metric” old person – but the Peloton engineers think meters matter more than miles… So laps while running are counted in meters and over the course of a workout, the “miles” counter is accurate but doesn’t sync with the graphic depiction of laps on a track. Easily fixed, but sloppy programming as is.- I appreciate the ability to “cast” the treadmill screen to the (non-existent) TV in my workout space; I would appreciate the ability to cast from my phone TO the treadmill screen even more. Why? Because I like to watch sporting events while I’m working out, but Peloton doesn’t (yet) support integration of any of the league pass apps I use, so I am forced to use an iPad for this content. Not a terrible hardship but an unnecessary waste of the otherwise great screen that would be even more useful if it could be used to watch MY preferred content.I will post a further update if and when Peloton delivers these software updates…

We are SO happy with our Peloton Tread purchase on Amazon! Ordering was a breeze and delivery was great! We were able to choose our delivery date/time and the Amazon truck arrived right on schedule. The installation was seamless, and the delivery guys were super helpful. We are in love with the treadmill and Peloton classes already! There are so many class options to choose from; walking, running, hiking and bootcamps. There are also options for strength training, cardio, yoga, stretching and more using the huge screen attached to the tread. My husband and I can both access classes under one membership and are so impressed with the instructors and all Peloton has to offer. We are most excited about the quality of the treadmill, it is sturdy, well-designed and feels incredibly smooth when walking or running. The combination of high-quality equipment and awesome class offerings make our new investment worth every penny!

High-End Replacement of our Schwinn Treadmill
We have own the Schwinn treadmill for about eight years and decided to upgrade to the Peloton for the more interactive experience. Ordering on Amazon was pretty easy and delivery was exceptional; It seriously only took the guys 45 minutes to be in and out with the treadmill completely ready to go.The treadmill itself performs flawlessly. The belt is smooth, and the adjustments to speed and incline are seamless. I love being able to track my progress.While itâs a significant investment, I truly believe itâs worth every penny. Its certainly well designed and robust, but what sets the Peloton apart from others is the truly immersive workout experience on the large touchscreen. Highly recommend to anyone serious about their fitness journey; I couldn’t be happier!

Absolute Best Investment for Yourself!
From the moment of delivery, which was refreshingly professional and on-time, the Peloton treadmill has proven to be the absolute best investment.However, it was my first virtual hike through the Dolomites on the stunning touchscreen monitor that convinced me to part ways with my personal trainer for good.The Peloton app’s user-friendly interface and the crystal-clear sound system have elevated every workout session and there are so many exercise options to choose from.Peloton has thoughtfully integrated features that ensure safety, simplicity, and enjoyment. *As a mother, the lock passcode and prominent stop button provide invaluable peace of mind. *The large knobs located on the side for adjusting speed and incline are a stroke of genius. *The pre-loaded experiences are simply INCREDIBLE. Watching Disney, Netflix, and YouTube while working out has almost made working out….fun?!This investment in myself has been long overdue and absolutely transformative. I am so happy!

CONTAINS TOXIC CHEMICALS
I bought this without them even specifying that it contains these carcinogens. The fact that it cost over $2,000 and they couldnât use materials that donât cause cancer is ridiculous. They should be ashamed to sell this to people without a proper warning before purchase. Only after waiting a week and paying for it to be assembled did I see that sticker on it. UNBELIEVABLE!!
