Durable, cute, narrow
My little kittle likes to scratch on our stairs. He started scrathing the carpet on the stairs, despite leaving all other carpet and furniture alone. He loves cardboard scratchers, so I looked for some narrow ones that I could get for a reasonable price in a multi-pack. These fit the bill. They fit on a stair well, and he loves them. He neglects the scratchers elsewhere and prefers to scratch solely on the stair cardboard. I think he mainly likes it so he can ‘power up’ by scratching before leaping off the top stair and sinking his claws into my calf (so cute, I know). This did totally eliminate the carpet scratching, by the way. Just giving him a more enticing option was all it took.I like that I can flip them over and have double the scratchers for the same price. I thought the wavy one would be weird, but he almost seems to prefer that ones, and it doesn’t affect using the flat side when the wavy side is down. They’re narrow enough to have about 4 inch left on the stair, which is good, because he’ll sometimes get a little wild and take a sled ride down the stairs on one. It takes a little more on these vs the wider ones.Final thought- the ‘free toy’ that it comes with is actually really awesome. Ted never seems to play with toys much, but he really likes that blue fish. If they sold them separately, I’d buy a pack of them. I really thought it’d be some junky thing, but he’s wild for it.

Wavy texture, awesome value, plus a bonus catnip fish!
Photo 1: This package came with a small, blue, catnip-filled fish as a bonus and my cats love this little thing! My cats have not gone back to any catnip-filled toy I’ve crafted for them, as many times as they keep going back for this little thing. They chill out with it and just nom on it sometimes, and other times they try and treat it like a kicker toy.Photo 2: I bought this pack of cat scratcher cardboard to have as backup cardboard. I wanted to be able to remove the cardboard from the tray it sits in and use the cardboard anywhere– so that’s exactly what we did. My partner trimmed down the width of the scratcher so it matched the width of the wooden armrest-cat-scratcher tray that’s already there, and he attached it to the front using carpet strips. Our black cat kept clawing the chair cloth where we now have this cardboard piece, so it’s been a great solution.Things to consider: the cardboard scratcher isn’t attached to the tray it sits in, and they are also very lightweight. So, if you are simply placing these on the ground for your cats, they may pull the scratcher up & out of the tray while attempting to use it unless they are actually sitting on it, meaning their weight would keep it from coming up while they use it.I purchased these for the sole purpose of having them as extras and to be able to use them creatively in places, so they are great for me, personally. The little blue catnip fish was an adorable bonus! 🙂

They are very sturdy and lightweight but do not move when the cats scratch them. One cat likes to claw a chair, another loved the couch cushions, but both of them enjoy the cardboard way more! They also love to lay on them, which I wasnât expecting My other cat doesnât care much lol. Itâs a win for me and my furniture! I will purchase them again. The added catnip toy was appreciated. The only thing I want is for the box itself to be deeper so the cardboard pieces donât come out.

These are great and better than just the cardboard ones I had without a border. She loves scratching and of course laying on them. PLUS, she LOVES the free fish toy that it came with. It currently is her favorite toy!!

The price is good, but our cat likes the waves larger and less. He doesn’t seem to use them as much as his other ones.Maybe over time he will take a liking it.Overall the product is good. Comes I. 3 pack and can last longer. Well that was the idea. May last even longer since our cat doesn’t seem so fond of them. Either way it was good for the cost and the quality is nice as well.In the end the product user just is disinterested. Only reason why we may not buy it again. There is still time. He may fall in love with them at a later time.As they say time makes the heart grow fonder.
