Perfect solution
Iâm a renter and I used these on a painted door that my dog had scratched. My landlord has just painted my place and I wanted to protect the door from being damaged again. The product is easy to cut with regular scissors. It is thin and yet does the job. My dog isnât a violent scratcher so I no donât know if this would protect against that.My door has a bit of textureâpaint brush strokesâso the adhesive isnât quite strong enough to adhere perfectly but itâs staying on. I imagine if the surface was perfectly smooth it would be better, but itâs staying on.

I really wanted to like these. They work okay on my builder grade doors but my storm door and garage door they constantly roll and need to be pressed down. Use on bedroom/ bathroom doors only.

Good idea but not strong enough
Not an bad product but it didn’t survive 48 hours with my 2 dogs. They completely scratched it off and destroyed my door again. It does not have very strong adhesive so it’s easily scratched off by dogs

Does not work for cat claws
It deterred my cat from stretching and scratching for about a week, but his claws are cutting right through it and damaging my freshly repaired wood door again. Straight up eye sore almost worse than the original scratches.

This product works really well for our needs! It was pretty easy to install but I had to use two strips for each door, one across the bottom and one vertically under the door knob. If my dogs scratch the door no marks are left! Highly recommend.

Came quickly, looks exactly like on the website, sticks quite good on the door.Probably works better with smaller dogs, my GSD can still scratch through it. Maybe have to put double layers…Sad it didn’t work out , but was worth of trying.
