Even as a senior my hair is oily, especially in the hotter months. This shampoo with Rosemary acts as a mild astringent to remove the seasonal microbiomes on the scalp. With other shampoos, had to wash more often and now half as much. I even use it on my Border Collie as part of grooming as her coat is super thick and tends to be greasy during the hotter months. Love it! AND smells so good!

One wash and I am able to wear black shirts
I used the shampoo for the first time this morning, I am able to wear a black shirt and black cardigan to work without any flakes. My scalp is not adjusted to the new season and dryness of Texas, so I had a lot of flaking going on. I like the smell of the rosemary and mint, it is a little herbal like but I personally like the way fresh herbs smell, not like an overly artificial smell. It lathered up great and gave a nice little tingle sensation… not overly like with a tea tree shampoo but just enough to make you feel awake in the morning.here is where it lost a star, I do feel like you need to really rinse this out of your hair pretty good, which is fine but the main issue I have is that it does feel a little drying. I typically use redken products, so I used this shampoo and my redken conditioner, along with my regular purology hair products before drying. My hair is a little more dry, not overly, then it would be on a fresh wash day. HOWEVER, I do not plan on using this as an every day shampoo anyway, maybe just 1-2 times a week or as needed for flakes. So for the price I think it is well worth it.my hair does not feel weighed down, and we shall see how it feels tomorrow with day 2….. but I do not typically have the best day two after gym hair anyway. I will change my review if there is any significant day 2 post gym difference than my norm. I suspect I will just need to add a little dry oil to my ends after styling.I do not know if I would try any of the other dry scalp products, but that it mainly because I do not usually like to do a lot of masks and products in my hair. I try to keep it pretty simple.

I used to have thick hair and soft curls. Menopause has turned my hair dry and brittle. Iâve tried every cruelty free , color-safe shampoo for damaged hair and nothing works. I started reading ingredients on hair care products, and googling them. The shampoos I was using claimed to moisture, and I couldnât understand why my hair was getting drier. I did some research on the ingredients and found they were terrible for hair. This shampoo, however, has all good ingredients. It gently cleanses my hair without drying it. Iâm thrilled with this purchase and wish I found it much sooner. The conditioner is great too. They both smell amazing. You will not regret trying this shampoo and conditioner set. Also, the price is very fair. I highly recommend this product.

I got this shampoo along with the conditioner and leave in conditioner like product. My scalp is very sensitive and certain shampoos will irritate it and cause my hair to get super greasy. Not this product though! It smells wonderful, makes my hair look great, and it does not irritate my sensitive scalp. My hair has never been this nice. It keeps it full and wavy and I’ve even been getting compliments on it! It’s so manageable I don’t even need to really brush it, I just run my fingers through. My hair is very thick and this brings out the natural waves without getting frizzy.

I loved the old Vegan Silk line. It was very lightly vanilla scented and my hair loved the formula. I was very sad when it was discontinued. I was really hoping this would be a repackage of that line. It’s just okay. Good cleansing power and a nice slippery conditioner – but it smells bad. Very bitter and vegetal. Fortunately it doesn’t linger. The Vegan Silk Hydro Luxe conditioner smelled so good… why does this stink?And what’s with the garbage AI images used in the marketing? Look at the unicorn’ leg. Very disappointing seeing this slop from a “conscious” beauty brand.

One use and I am shook!! The ingredient list on this shampoo reads with ingredients normally found in SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive shampoos – shocking for the low price. Iâve used it for one wash and my hair came out soft, smooth and with increased curl definition as well. Someone with very healthy/low porosity hair may not need this shampoo often however I am really appreciating this in my rotation and have purchased a back-up. If you are someone looking for a gentle/supportive shampoo – this is a great option.For reference I have very porous, lower density 3b type curly hair that leans towards dry, however can become oily and very easily weighted down. I used this shampoo (no conditioner in shower) and the now d/c verb curl leave-in conditioner and jvn shine drops.
