Best Purchase Ever
Iâve had watches, Fitbitâs, you name it but this is the best thing Iâve come across so far. The amount of detail and insight I receive into my health is unmatched. I finally feel competitive with myself and want to better my habits based on how my numbers fluctuate. I love that this also gives insight into how my sleep habits are and when to best navigate bedtime based on my habits. I love that it changes and adapts to me and isnât a one size fits all health approach. Worth every penny for the functionality as well as the sleek design. I initially purchased the 3 and quickly exchanged it for the 4 to rid of the bumps on the inside and itâs so comfortable I forgot Iâm wearing it. The charging is so fast, the silver is nice and while has a couple scratches, stays very clean and shiny.

When I first put on the ring, I didnât like it. It felt bulky and I was constantly changing fingers. Finally, after more than a week, I settled on the middle finger of my non-dominant hand. I sleep with it on, but Iâm not sure how accurately it tracks my REM versus non-REM. I also JUST found the oxygen saturation metrics under the sleep screen. This ring does a LOT more than I initially thought. My ring is the polished silver and I am not having any issues with scratches or markings. The battery life seems good. I charge it about every 5 days or so. I like the sleep and activity reminders. The app is good and easy to use. It takes several days to track and store usable data for trends. Pairing the ring with the app was simple. Overall Iâm happy.

Apple Watch convert. Oura 4 is great
Iâm a former Apple Watch user and hated wearing the watch as I prefer a more traditional watch. Apple Watch battery life always caused me to miss sleep patterns and it always needed charging in 24 hours. Itâs not for me and I also didnât like working out with a watch on. I ended up rarely wearing the watchAfter fitting for the ring I went with the stealth black. The battery life has been great and so far Iâm getting 7 days. It accurately tracks heart rate and sleep, which were my biggest needs but I love that I can wear it for a week straight without charging. Itâs tracks way more like recovery, sleep cycles and vo2 and frankly Iâm getting way more out of the ring than I expected. I also wear it when I workout including weights and itâs been unnoticeable to me unlike the Apple Watch.I love the simplicity of a ring and Iâm a full convert.As for the monthly fee that some people seem to be mad about, Iâm sure there are apps fees most of us are paying for other things but this fee is cheap for what it is. Itâs your health after all and itâs worth it. They are also constantly improving the app and older versions of the ring work with these updates. Iâm more than happy paying this fee as itâs going to improvements in health metrics (and Iâm sure some profits) but itâs worth it to me because the app is very insightful and beyond my expectations.Durabilty also seems great. Iâve showered with it and worked out with barbell right on it and so far there are no scratchesAs for things I wish it had -The charger is meant for the ring size you buy so you are very limited in charging if you donât have it. If you lose it you got problems. Itâs not ideal but i also donât know what could be done hereThere is no portable charger and it feels like a big need. I wish it had an AirPod like charging case for travel. I travel for 2-3 weeks at a time and sure wish I had a portable charger I could get a couple recharges from. They have to be working on this as it seems like a no brainerThe silver interior with stealth black I wish was all black but itâs not really noticeable. Not a bud deal

Optimal Oura Ring
As a previous user of another brand of fitness/health tracking wearable, I had no trouble adjusting to the Oura ring and wish I’d made the switch sooner. I like the fit and recommend ordering the size kit before purchasing. It holds a charge well, and the data is easy to navigate using the app. The ring is comfortable and durable. I haven’t purchase a cover for it, but it hasn’t scratched yet during barbell movements which was something I was concerned about. I most like the detailed sleep data the ring provides as well as monthly cycle tracking. If you enjoy walking or running, it also has a feature to track your route and distance. Highly recommend.
