Purchased this to help learn about my sleeping. The ring is comfortable to wear and shows some good health data. It integrates into the Apple Health app so all of my records can be viewed in one location. The battery life is lasting me about 6 days which is more than enough. The new app is easy to use. My one complaint/concern is the yearly fee for the app. Other than the sleeping data I donât know if it provides me with any more/better data that my Apple Watch. I will see if I keep the app after the first year.

Disappointed, not durable and not worth the money ð
I have 3 relatives with the gen 3 and they loved it. Since it had such good reviews I splurged on the newest gen 4 and got the gold one. The gold is a brassy color and my sisters gen 3 is a better gold. I noticed scratches on mine right away and bought a silicone cover. I worn that for a few weeks and the past 2 weeks have been wearing it without and it has rubbed off in places and is silver underneath. I have also been sick for the past week and have had a fever and the ring showed a little bit of difference but still had I had a relatively good nights rest even while walking up coughing several times a night. Could the 3 be a better ring? I had such high hopes from the rave reviews from relatives. When I took the walking test it said my cardio capacity is at peak which is weird because I donât exercise. My daughter who just ran a half marathon has a lower capacity than me and she is a runner. What am I missing here? The ring is not durable and looks cheap and scratched up, the info is not accurate and I paid $500 for this plus $7 a month? Going to contact the company because I think I. got a lemon. I waited a month to give it a fair chance but now the return window is closed.

Apple Watch convert. Oura 4 is great
Iâm a former Apple Watch user and hated wearing the watch as I prefer a more traditional watch. Apple Watch battery life always caused me to miss sleep patterns and it always needed charging in 24 hours. Itâs not for me and I also didnât like working out with a watch on. I ended up rarely wearing the watchAfter fitting for the ring I went with the stealth black. The battery life has been great and so far Iâm getting 7 days. It accurately tracks heart rate and sleep, which were my biggest needs but I love that I can wear it for a week straight without charging. Itâs tracks way more like recovery, sleep cycles and vo2 and frankly Iâm getting way more out of the ring than I expected. I also wear it when I workout including weights and itâs been unnoticeable to me unlike the Apple Watch.I love the simplicity of a ring and Iâm a full convert.As for the monthly fee that some people seem to be mad about, Iâm sure there are apps fees most of us are paying for other things but this fee is cheap for what it is. Itâs your health after all and itâs worth it. They are also constantly improving the app and older versions of the ring work with these updates. Iâm more than happy paying this fee as itâs going to improvements in health metrics (and Iâm sure some profits) but itâs worth it to me because the app is very insightful and beyond my expectations.Durabilty also seems great. Iâve showered with it and worked out with barbell right on it and so far there are no scratchesAs for things I wish it had -The charger is meant for the ring size you buy so you are very limited in charging if you donât have it. If you lose it you got problems. Itâs not ideal but i also donât know what could be done hereThere is no portable charger and it feels like a big need. I wish it had an AirPod like charging case for travel. I travel for 2-3 weeks at a time and sure wish I had a portable charger I could get a couple recharges from. If you owned a generation 3 Oura Ring then your experience won’t be much different in my opinion. Other reviewers have said the Gen 4 Ring is more comfortable to wear. That depends. Yes, the sensor bumps inside the old ring are now embedded in the new ring so that provides an added measure of comfort. And since I have really meaty fingers, the new size 15 ring is a much better fit than my previous size 13. That being said, the width and weight makes it no more comfortable to wear all day overall than the previous ring for me personally. I find myself adjusting it on my finger for better comfort several times a day after wearing it for hours. But not a deal breaker by any means. Battery life seems better in the new ring just as advertised. How much better is yet to be determined. I purchased the rose gold. It’s stunning! But it scratches very, very easily. If scratches will bother you, I’d advise getting the matte silver or stealth, which I believe might hide any scratches more effectively. I’m much more impressed by the newly revised and reorganized app experience. The new update is awesome and makes the app so much more user friendly! Now if we could only get rid of the 6 dollar monthly subscription fee, everything would be almost perfect!

Easy to use!
The benefit of it is not having another screen in your life. The ring does what it states, it tracks well sleep, stress, activity, etc. With the plus of not having to manually input all of that in your phone. It is pretty easy to use, and almost not noticiable.The only downside as stated by many other customers is the monthly fee to use the app. I think the relation cost vs innovation does not support the $6 per month.
