Great for short day hikes too!
Designed for Mountain Bikers, I bought and use it for short day hikes. 2.5L water reservoir is more than enough for most outings. Minimum space for essentials and maybe a sun shirt. Very comfortable, even on my big 6’5″ frame. Impressive build quality, and durability. Highly recommend

Great hiking and travel pack
Took this pack to Europe. Was the right combination of functionality, size, and water.

Great for day hikes but bite valve leaks
Iâve only used this pack for hiking and itâs fantastic size for a short day hike. Has plenty of storage room for the things I usually take such as snacks(protein bars, granola, bananas), wallet, keys, battery bank. The 2.5 liter hydration pack is a great size. This past summer I just filled it with mostly ice and it would keep my water cool for the 3 hours+ in the sun. I like that the tubing is magnetically attached so it doesnât fly around. The one thing I didnât like is the bite valve started leaking after the first week. I believe this is an older model because when I looked up a replacement the new ones have a physical valve to keep it from leaking when not in use. I did replace it with that one and got a valve cover as well. It works fantastic and Iâm satisfiedOverall great product and fits my use case.

Great pack for day hikes
Just the right size. Best feature is the webbing between you and the pack than minimizes the annoying sweat buildup between you and the pack

Great pack
Easy to fill, lots of cool features like helmet strap, lots of storage, easy to clean. Beats Camelback hands down.

Not for me.
I. A tall gal, 5’9″, but this is too long for me. Also don’t like that I can’t access the pocket without unbuckling the stretch compartment. Nice quality, iAnd I love this brand, but not for me.

Great all around pack if you need to carry some items
First Osprey, but have had many other name brands and tried some not so name brands. Overall I’m happy with it, some things is does better, some things could be improved. I’ve only had it for a couple months and these are my observations so far-Pros- great quality- perfect size if you want to carry more than water, but don’t want a bigger, heavier backpack- good organization- good back ventilation- comfortable- like the magnet chest strap and bite valve holderCons- a bit pricey- not a fan of how you add water, it’s not that easy to unclip the bag, pull the bag out, have to hold it open and upright while filling. Prefer the other brands where you open the flap to expose the large screw off cap and pour water in while bag can be laying down.

This is the second one Iâve bought. Got it for my son. Iâve used mine for a year now and nothing but pleased. Enough water for a couple hour mtb ride and lots of quality zippers/ storage for essential gear such as snacks / spare tube etc. material and general quality highly recommended
