Perfect day pack
Seven liters is the perfect size! Everything stays secure and close to me, and is the perfect weight for biking, hiking and even some running. With the hydration pack full I can still fit my hammock, lunch, my Kindle or a book, and wallet inside.I packed it out for an overnight (see photo) where I filled up the bladder, packed a hammock, sleeping pad, small toiletries and snacks inside with light blanket, speaker, phone, extra layers and misc gear outside. It stayed secure and the bag held everything really well. The straps are comfortable, but the magnetic hydration clip is in an awkward spot where you can only use it if you want to secure the chest strap. So, I switched the magnet to the other side than how it came so I can clip it and it doesn’t get in the way.Personally, I don’t use the hip strap but it looks like it wouldn’t be super comfortable. It’s totally fine with out it, even packed out. After 2 months of use, it is holding up really well from daily rough use. Osprey is well made and can handle whatever it is you put it through.

Great for skiing, biking, & hiking
I needed a hydration pack for skiing. I was looking for something small that would also supply plenty of water and have just enough room for snacks, sunscreen, etc. The Kitsuma 7 is exactly what I wanted! It holds 2.5L of water, which lasted me all day on the slopes. The water stayed cool all day as well. There is a small zippered pocket that I put my ID and money inside of. There is a larger front pocket with a vertical zipper. Inside of this pocket are 2 mesh pockets (perfect for snack bars, small lotion/sunscreen, and other necessities). It also had enough room for my gator when I didnât need it. The pack stayed dry on the outside even after a few tumbles into the snow. There is a waist strap, which would be great when biking. However, I didnât need this while skiing so I just tucked the straps into the outside mesh pockets. The chest strap was perfect and never came undone while I was skiing. This hydration pack is perfect for skiing, biking, hiking, etc.

Great for hiking
This was a easy bag for me to take hiking for a day. Enough room for a snack phone and wallet. If going for more than a day need more space.

Quality
I purchased this Osprey for my wife when we go hiking. Iâm actually kind of jealous, too. I own a Teton, which is a solid hydration pack with ample storage options, but I digressâ¦This hydration pack is super well built and ergonomic. What I am mostly impressed by is the bladder and tube combination. The way the bladder is filled with water is super convenient with the large opening and clip combo. The water lock is the most impressive part. It has a well-thought out mechanism for open and closed as well as it being clear. My personal hydration bladder is tinted blue, so itâs not easy to see if there is bacteria building up there or not. Also, there is a nice quality of life enhancement in the magnetic clasp. The tube can be magnetically attached to the chest strap. I love that. My Teton is enough, but the Osprey just sprinkles more quality and thought into their product.Overall, my wife doesnât complain about wearing it, so that should be the measuring stick of this review: wife approved.

Great for biking/hiking
I really like this bag. I recently took up mountain biking and wanted a small pack to carry some essentials in. It’s the perfect size – plenty of room for a couple bike tools, spare gloves, snacks like protein bars, phone, and a small piece of clothing like a windbreaker or rain jacket. There’s a zipper pocket in the hydration compartment for things like keys. I like that the front zips down so you can quickly get to what you need instead of digging around from the top.I’m used to Camelbak style hydration bladders so I actually had to watch a video on how to open the Osprey one. It works well and no leaks so far. I like that you can switch sides for the tube, although I’ve found it works best on the left since that is where the chest clip magnet sits.Recently used it hiking too and it was great.

Perfect fit for mountain biking
I previously tried just using my Osprey daylite pack while biking, was not at all comfortable at my neck. This pack was the perfect solution for mountain biking. Itâs lightweight. The storage space is small and perfect for when you only need little – in addition to the water bladder I can fit my phone and some snacks with room to spare. Everyone raves about the magnetic attachment for the water tube and it probably does work good when walking but I havenât figured out how to get it to stay while arms are forward biking though. Doesnât bother me enough to spend twice the price on another though.

Comfortable
Girlfriend used it when we hiked Rainier. It was comfortable and did its job, but she didnât run any water through the reservoir and complained it tasted like plastic. Definitely recommend but make sure to clean and test it before you head out.
