We recently purchased the Sunheir Orthopedic Dog Bed for our pittie, Xena, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! Xena is a large dog who loves to sprawl out, and finding a bed that offers both comfort and durability has always been a challenge. But this bed has completely exceeded our expectations!First off, the quality of the material is outstanding. The bed is made from a deluxe plush fabric that feels so soft yet sturdy. Xena immediately claimed it as her own, and you can tell she loves the plush cushion as she sinks into it after a long walk or playtime. The orthopedic foam provides excellent support, which is so important for her jointsâespecially as she’s getting older. Weâve noticed a significant improvement in how she moves around after resting on it, and she no longer seems stiff after a nap, which is a huge relief.The bed is generously sized. Xena is a big girlâabout 75 lbsâand she has plenty of room to stretch out comfortably. Sunheir Orthopedic Dog Bed – Great Value!
This is a GREAT dog bed & it is very reasonably priced! I adopted a 55 lb APBT from our local shelter & needed a dog bed for him to use upstairs in a window seat. I found this one & ordered it. The mattress is the egg-crate style, and you can get an idea of the depth of it from the photo. It measures 4″ with the cover on. The 1st one that was sent to me had an issue with one end from the way it was folded during shipping & it wouldn’t regain its shape. I did an exchange online because I really liked the bed & was promptly sent a replacement. Super easy – just took the original one to the UPS store & they scanned my code. The replacement they sent at first looked like it was going to have the same issue on one end; however, I was able to just pull gently on the apex of a few of the points & they popped back up like they’re supposed to be. So please, if you purchase this dog bed & you think it’s smashed where it’s folded, give it a try first – just gently pull on the top of the few points & they will likely pop back up like a memory foam should. The inside of the cover is like a vinyl-type fabric. This would give it the waterproof aspect. The top is sherpa. And the bottom is a smooth fabric with little dots on it. I tried to take photos of each part. The mattress will come folded up in a small box. I allowed it to lay out overnight to air out & regain its shape before putting the cover on it. The cover zips all the way around making it very easy to remove & throw in the washer. I wash it in the washer but allow it to air dry for better wear over time. And my dog LOVES this bed. We made a window seat in front of the large windows in the upstairs primary bedroom. It allows him to look out over his kingdom (like a cat!) LOL. It’s his favorite place to lay. I just had a one inch mat on it before, but when I put this on, he was in heaven. He takes a 2 to3 hour nap on it every afternoon, and he has gone from sleeping in our bed to sleeping on the window seat on his new bed. We got the large one. It is a very comfortable bed, and it is very well made. I cannot attest to the waterproof or chew-proof ability of the bed as our dog does not have accidents & he doesn’t chew on anything. From the feel of the inside of the cover, it appears solidly waterproof. I can also tell when I take the cover out of the washing machine. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a comfy place for their pup to lay. I am very happy with this purchase, and you can’t beat the price or the service from the seller.

Our dobi/shep mix loves it. She used to sleep in blank piles but as she’s getting older we thought maybe she’d like a bed. She loves it! My normally anxious and destructive dog has decided that her bed and blanket are her safe spot and will tunnel under blanket and stay there when stressed or while I’m away for a short time. It’s soft, plenty big for her, and looks nice. I haven’t washed it yet, but it looks like it’s decent quality and should hold up, so fingers crossed. I might get her a second one for her kennel for days I’m away for a long time.

It is a decent product for the price. Color is semi accurate, it is soft for the dog to lay on the outside cover. It took about 48hrs to decompress to its actual size, would recommend getting a thicker one for your dog it is not the well made. It is easy to take out to wash the cover, there wasnât much of a smell when first opening it but do recon washing before usage.

I have a husky he is extremely destructive, before the video he was digging into the bed. He would do that with his other bed to the point there was a whole touching the surface of the floor. I think the padding itâs too thin but the cover is very soft, thick, and warm. I might replace the padding and keep the cover .

I bought this bed for my young puppy because it was advertised as anti chew. Unfortunately she ripped the side within the first hour, so the bed didn’t last long. Also the size is slightly smaller than advertised. The price wasn’t too expensive so I guess was worth what i paid for
