Incredibly effective
I love this. I received as a gift and had low expectations. Not so really was able to notice the improvement of my indoor air. Itâs very quiet on the low setting too. Love it so much I got a second one for the bedroom. The size is small but it does the whole apartment. The features are great and increase the functionality. I live by the beach and itâs really helpful reducing dust. I only change the filters every 6 months. Great product

At first I didn’t like this air purifier because it seemed like it didn’t work effectively. I did ask for a refund but I kept running it & then I was pleasantly surprised that it actually did clean the air. So I won’t be returning it at all.

Auto sensor not that good
I bought the bigger E1000 nuwave purifier a couple weeks ago and have really liked that one. A few days later I bought the portable. Iâve had it for a week now and Iâm not sure Iâll keep it. I have it running on auto most of the time. The filters look solid. My issue is that Iâve never seen it detect anything. I have this in my upstairs home office and sit in there with it 40 hrs a week. I decided to test it by putting a smokey heavily scented candle next to it. It didnât detect it until I turned the back with the sensor to sit facing the candle. Basically right on it. The other issue I have is I suspect the fan isnât tight enough. If you tilt it or put it on a vibrating surface (I put behind my box fan on my dresser) then it makes a wobble noise. The 1st night I had in bedroom and ran the fan on high for the max setting time. It had ran that course and went back to auto for a couple hours and then it woke me up by beeping and turning itself off. When I looked this up Nuwave says itâs normal and a safety feature. To me that means overheating. Air purifiers are basically fans with filters so itâs concerning that itâs overheating to me. And I donât like that when itâs in sleep ( lights off) it would beep to shut off.
