AWESOME.
I did a good amount of research and read a lot of positive reviews on these Nothing Ear (a) buds and bought them to replace a set of Costco-bought Hypersonic earbuds after I lost the left one. Didn’t want to spend $250 – $300 on earbuds so the Ear (a) buds were in the range I was looking for. I am not what I’d call an “audiophile.” although I do most of my headphone listening on a pricey pair of Beyerdynamic T1’s powered through a Beyerdynamic A1 headphone amp, and I am a musician so my trained ear DOES appreciate quality sound. These slick little Ear (a) buds did not disappoint! I use them with an iPhone and they produce nice, clean sound with great range and tonality. Good separation regardless of the type of music you like to listen to. The fit is snug but comfortable (and they come with 3 different size soft ear bulbs for many ear shapes and sizes). The noise cancelling does not totally block louder outside sounds but, when combined with a proper fit, it is adequate even when doing noisy tasks like mowing the lawn or using power tools. So when using them in more normal settings, like on a plane or in a room of people talking, they are very good at screening out extraneous noise so you can focus on the music. The bluetooth connection is easy and solid and they have not randomly disconnected once since I’ve had them, unlike other earbuds I’ve used. And I love the the bright yellow color! Sure makes it easy to spot them when I set them down somewhere and have to search the house for them (happens a lot!). Battery life seems very good and recharging is quick. I can easily get an entire day of listening out of one charge. Oh, and the app is fantastic for controlling the buds and customizing the sound with the equalizer to set your own personal listening preference. I’m hoping these Nothing Ear (a) buds last a long time and I’d highly recommend them!

Great price and quality
I purchased these when my name-brand ear buds inexplicably stopped working. So far they work great! The noise canceling function works on par with more expensive buds. Calls, music, etc. come through great. Easy set up and connection with my phone. They fit well in my ears, although they only have one size. Overall, would recommend!

Great ear buds for an affordable price!
I really like these. I switched from the Galaxy buds (which were my second pair) because they, once again, would not charge the right bud even after cleaning, troubleshooting, etc and I was tired of spending money on earphones that stopped working after six months. The sound quality is great both for media and for phone calls. The noise transparency could be better since it is virtually the same as just having it off. They’re comfortable but I do wish came with an XS ear bud size since the S still falls out of my ears a bit since I have small ears. The case, the style and the app are all sleek and super intuitive to use. They’re so unique and I love these a lot. I use them daily and have only had to charge the case once since purchasing. I won’t be buying any other brand because even though there are some tweaks I would make (such as XS earpieces and transparency mode) they’re the best earbuds I’ve found and used in a while!

Best earbuds I’ve ever owned
I’m not a huge audiophile, nor do I use earbuds a ton, but a lot of that was not really finding a set that was comfortable, or worked the way I wanted them to, most of the ones I had were older, touch controlled, a weird form factor, or had severe lag making them difficult to watch videos with. So after seeing a few solid reviews, I gave these a try.Pros:- Great form factor. I like the earbud with stem form factor a lot after trying just the total in ear bud and the wrap around behind the ear style. This is totally personal however.- Solid fit – I needed the large tips, but they fit great and generally stay in unless I’m doing something either particularly motion intensive or taking off clothing that could bump them out.- Amazing Sound – As I mentioned, I’m not an audiophile, but compared to my other earbuds, these are amazing. Good sound quality and separation, sold bass without being obnoxious, and great for both calls, podcasts/youtube, an music.- Good noise canceling and pass though mode – I generally don’t use passthrough mode much, but it seems to work well, and the noise canceling has been great for getting rid of background noise. Best on an earbud I’ve ever used.- Price – Earbuds this good used to be much more expensive. I know these aren’t the only ones in their price range with this feature set now, but they’re competitive at their price point with several different styles/options.- Look – I think the solid and clear aesthetic is pretty cool, but they’re also not super loud (visually) so they don’t scream “look at my earbuds!” either. So nice and cool but classy and understated.- Solid software – Easy to customize, control, and the software helps me grab them on whatever device I’m using. Sadly, there’s no Windows app for them yet, but they work great on Android.- Easy to grab and put in the case. My sausage hands struggle with some cases, not these.- Mic quality – Solid enough mic that it picks up my voice (I have vocal chord damage, so this is an issue with some headsets that can’t pick up my voice) and sound as good if not better than the phone mic on calls. I wouldn’t do a podcast with them, but they’re solid for calls/discord/gaming.Meh:- Controls – Pinch controls are fine once you get used to them, and better than unreliable touch controls, but I still struggle to find exactly where to pinch, and doing anything other than single pinch or hold is difficult to do fast enough at times for me so far. So, better than other ear buds I’ve had, but not perfect. Fortunately you can customize them easily.Cons:- Case could maybe be a little smaller? I wouldn’t mind if the edges that are made to square it off a bit were a bit more rounded to reduce the size slightly. Minor nit pick.- Mic can pickup background noise – Shouldn’t be a huge surprise here, it’s a good and sensitive mic that’s not right near your mouth, so it will pick up background noise or conversations in the room.Overall, I like them. Best earbuds I’ve owned, though to be fair, it’s also the most expensive ones I’ve owned (though the $80 ones from 2019 may effectively be close). I’ve found they’re now always in my pocket where as before I wouldn’t bring earbuds with me everywhere, and I’m using them more than I expected. If you like the style and the price is right, then I’d highly recommend them. You’d probably have to spend quite a bit more to get significantly better, so these are a great value for full featured noise canceling earbuds.

Excellent earbuds
The quality for the price in these little earbuds is excellent. There are tons of useful features that it has, and it has the ability to turn on & off noise cancellation with a touch. My headphones went through the wash in the case after my fiancé washed my pants without checking the pockets (oops). And they survived, miraculously. The case still charges, as do the earbuds. They’re not neccesarily water proof but the water resistance must be pretty alright. There is a small issue if your earbuds don’t fit well: the earbuds are built with a feature where they pause what youre listening to when you take either of them out. This function is very sensitive for me, and will randomly pause my music. This can be easily turned off in the app, but it’s a bit annoying out of the box.

The fit is great, comes with small medium and large tips. Noise cancelation and transparency are the best I’ve found yet, these are great for blue collar workers. The pinch feature is a game changer since I no longer have to remove my gloves to pause, skip songs, etc.Absolutely recommend, audio quality is solid too.

Iâve been using the Nothing Ear (a) wireless ear buds for just over a month and tried them for all my regular activities – listening to music, audio books and live radio in different locations – public transport, busy city streets, and chilling at home.My review is based comparing them to my previous buds, apple AirPod pros (but bear in mind, they are much more expensive). I list the main factors in order of what is important to me.Sound Quality – really impressive in all applications. Nice level of bass in music, crisp and clear speech in audio books and radio. Overall I would say easily as good as AirPod pros, possibly even better for music.Noise cancellation – quite capable with constant background noises. Struggled a little bit with more random noises, such as on busy streets, but still better than no noise cancellation at all. Overall, not as good as AirPod pros, but good enough, especially for the price.Controls – touch controls are not as responsive as AirPod pros, particularly when performing double or triple clicks, but good enough – and I can do more than I could on (1st gen) AirPod pros.Setup/App – very easy, good app. Slight inconvenience to go to separate app compared with the integrated AirPod controls on iOS, but that is to be expected.Looks/feel/quality – all seem perfectly fine – quite a subtle look, nice feel without a super-premium feel, quality good so far.
