The kittens love it
You canât see it in the photo but the kittens are laying on a blanket on the warming pad. Mine is just grey in color.I bought this for my senior dogs. I had just moved to a new home and learning to regulate the temperature while not home for them.Well, I guess they never got cold because they would never sleep on it.The kittens on the other hand, LOVE IT. Update; November 4, 2023. The night after posting the original review the cats were sleeping on tge pad. So i guess they like it. I forget to mention in my original post that the pad is very thin. The pics make it look thicker then it really is.So, there are about 10 feral cats that are basically my pets. I feed them they want love all the time and they sit with me when I’m outside. They are not indoor cats in any way. So, I have an old beach towel that I put in the outside door way for them to lay on. Every night at least four of them a huddled and curled up on it sleeping. It’s getting cold so I saw this pad and decided to buy it for them. They laid on it once and that was it. The pad has been there and they will not lay on it. I don’t know why but they won’t. Returning it.

Dog loves it
Purchased for weiner dog, great size for small dog. She loves to be warm so she was very happy laying on this in front of the fireplace. It seemed to give her some extra warmth but was still safe and didnât get too warm. Certainly not as warm as a heating pad but overall worked true to itâs description. Itâs also soft and comfortable for her.

This self-heating dog mat is decent, but it didnât quite meet my expectations. The mat is lightweight and has a nice, soft texture, making it comfortable for my dog. It fits perfectly in my petâs crate, and I like that itâs washable and has an anti-slip bottom to keep it in place.However, I was hoping it would provide more warmth. While it does retain some body heat, it doesnât seem to get as warm as I thought it would, especially for colder weather. It works fine indoors, but for outdoor use, Iâm not sure itâs warm enough.Overall, itâs a good, basic mat, but if youâre looking for something with a stronger heating effect, you may want to consider other options. For the price, itâs okay, but not outstanding.
