Doesn’t work with adult-size mountain bike
I mounted this to the wall at a height where the front tire would be secured in the rack and the back tire would set on the ground and rest against the wall. When I mounted the bike and let go, the weight of the bike leaning back pulled the front tire out of the rack. That was with 29″ mountain bike tires. I remounted the rack at a height for another bike with 26″ tires, but found the same result. The frame of the rack wasn’t long enough so too much of the tire was above the rack rather than setting inside. This was the smaller of the two racks, so I would recommend trying the larger for any bike with tires more than 20″.Aside from its ineffectiveness with my bikes, the build quality and sturdiness were good.

Nice item
I ordered this bike rack in an effort to organize my garage. I did not want to hang my bike by the tire and have problems down the road from warping my rims. I wanted this rack because I can wheel my bike right up to it, pull the handlebars back towards me to lift the front end, and wheel the bike right onto the holder. My bike doesn’t hang by the tire. Instead, the front tire is cradled in the rack and the back tire bears the weight on the ground. I feel this is much safer on your wheels.The rack is a real space saver too. I have an area behind the door into my garage that was being underutilized until I bought this rack. Now, my bikes don’t have to get moved out of the way regularly. And they’re protected from anyone hitting them with their car in the garage. My garage has a lot of stuff in it, so anything I can do to organize things makes it better and safer for everyone.This item seems to be well made. It’s simple, but performs it’s job perfectly. The material seems very strong and I’m very happy with it. I highly recommend!

Sort of difficult to install
This bike rack was sort of difficult to install and the instructions were not very helpful. Iâm not the handiest person but can generally get it done. It does hold our bikes but I prefer to have the bikes flat against the wall rather than hanging by their tires and sticking out from the wall. I think this would work well for some and itâs a sturdy holder. I am finding itâs not a big space saver though.

These welds are art
I am blown away at how well made this is for the price. I am not an inexperienced welder, and am just blown away that somebody managed to do this quality of work and then slap this price on it. It would take me a few hours to get this done this nicely.OK enough gushing about the beautiful welds and how well made this is. This thing is heavy duty, I was able to at 240lbs hang from it folded out and there was no deflection of flexing at all. The mounting plate likewise is very thick metal. This should be able to handle any ebike out there so long as the wheels fit. My Aventon Level is able to be stored on this at 80 lbs and is solid.The included hardware likewise is great… kind of. If putting this into brick or concrete the included bits are perfect and all you need. I live in a wood framed house. So while the included timber screws are much better than they need to be, you only get to put one side into the stud because of the width. All that said, put into studs those 2 are really all this needs as it holds against the wall. I still sunk a couple of drywall anchors in and added hardware on that side though for completion sake. On a positive note these thicker wood screws are worth way more than the drywall anchors I used so I actually personally found this to be a positive.

Excellent quality, but challenging to mount.
This bike wall mount is indeed made of high-quality metal, as the manufacturer claims. If you have garage walls made of concrete, the manufacturer includes the appropriate anchors. The mounting holes are 3.5 inches on center left-right and 20 inches top-bottom and that is where the challenge begins. I have no doubt this mount is strong enough to hold a bike on the wall as it hangs from its front tire, but the hole positions prevent mounting this directly to a stud. I have reduced my rating because I did not know this mount requires a secondary project before the mount becomes useful.
