I love this camera. I looked for one this versatile all my pregnancy.Its really easy to set upYou can move it easily. It is very flexible.The image is very good and adapts to the light in the roomYou can use it with your cell phone and with the monitor. This is what I was looking for the mostIt has motion alerts and cry detectionIt has some things to improve:The monitor battery discharges very quickly.The camera can get very hot when in use.Sometimes the monitor loses the signal and the image takes a while to update. (Although I think it is due to my wifi connection)I really recommend it. I am very happy.

I really want to love this camera, the flexibility, the quality are great but unfortunately itâs not durable at all. Iâve had the camera 2 months and itâs already starting to act up, unfortunately I canât return it or I would. The camera and handheld monitor screen will randomly disconnect often and sometimes I canât get it to connect back unless I go reset and reconfigure the whole thing, itâs so aggravatingâ¦especially in the middle of the nightâ¦I donât understand what the problem is because the camera is also connected to my phone and this never happens with my phone.

Do not waste your money.
After researching new baby monitors for weeks, I had decided on this one due to the immense number of positive reviews it received. We purchased this monitor for our 3-month-olds bedroom since she’s started rolling and can no longer sleep in our bedroom in her bassinet. I was excited, because this monitor had a lot of the features that I was wanting. The temperature and humidity show, you could have both a handheld monitor and the app on your phone, it looked easy to set up, and it didn’t have an ungodly number of wires included to set it up.We got this monitor in around 1 in the afternoon and plugged the handheld monitor in to charge. The instructions say to charge it for 5 hours… we charged it until about 9:00. We set up the camera in my daughter’s room (one thing I liked was how many different ways you can set it up) and we ended up mounting it to her crib so we could have an aerial view of the whole bed.For starters…. the camera SUCKS. I’m not kidding when I say it would’ve been better quality if I had facetimed myself. It’s so fuzzy that it’s nearly impossible to tell if her eyes are open. You cannot zoom in on the monitor (not sure about the app). The two-way audio doesn’t work (it worked one time and then stopped). I do like how easy it is to control the monitor. That was a plus.Now. My breaking point.We put our daughter in her room at about 9:30-10:00. At about 10:15, I thought I heard her crying, but the monitor didn’t go off, so I assumed it was phantom cries and mom brain. Around 10:20, I was certain I heard her cry, but the monitor didn’t go off again, so I got up to check her and she was crying in her room. I got her settled and back to sleep, so I got back in my bed and around 11 my husband woke me up and asked me to check the monitor. She was sound asleep, so we set the monitor to continuously stay on and laid back down, and at 11:45 he woke me up again because he thought he heard her crying but again… no noise from the monitor… and she was definitely crying in her room.After 3 times of the monitor failing to alert us that our daughter was hysterical in her room, we brought her back into our room out of fear that we wouldn’t hear her once we entered a deep sleep. We all dozed off, and at 2:00 in the morning, I woke up to an obnoxiously loud beeping. The monitor was almost dead. After 4 hours of using it. Not even continuous usage… it was in VOX mode. It’s supposed to have a 30-hour battery life. It didn’t even last 5. We had turned it off when we brought her into our room, so I’m being gracious with 4 hours of usage. Realistically, we probably used it for a max of 2.5 hours.Don’t waste your money. We will 100% be returning this and will test out a 3rd monitor. For yours and your baby’s safety, comfort, and sleep… do NOT get this monitor.

The camera has great resolution and as long as you have a secure wifi network I had no problems with connecting my Peekababy camera. The pairing of the monitor to the camera is sensitive so make sure you are within 1 meter of the device so its âbindingâ feature doesnât fail. I find the QR code pairing extremely convenient and made the set up process easy. The sound quality is to my liking and I like that the app is capable of displaying my other Netvue cameras if I decide to add it. Remember that this requires a subscription for unlimited video recording services with their internet cloud feature otherwise youâll have to purchase an SD card for your ideal storage. The gooseneck for the camera is easy to adjust and the c-clamp attachment is effortlessly customizable. I use my Peekababy camera as a pet nanny camcorder so it is quite versatile to say the least. My camera has no frame rate issues and gives me a clear backyard view without any delays. I like that the temperature comes in both metric and imperial measurements. The clock can be adjusted to either 12hr or 24hr at your discretion. Hands down worth the money since there is an optional 2-year warranty offered during the purchase process.
