We needed a feeder fo our Maine Coon cat who can only eat wet food. This feeder has ice packs that can keep the food pretty fresh for longer overnight trips. It was easy to set up and is very simple to open and stock. It also washes out easily and our guy canât get into it. Itâs light weight and doesnât take up much room. It does make a mild mechanical sound but it is short and he got used to it quickly. The only complaint I have is that each compartment is deep and awkward. Our cat doesnât like to put his face in. He uses his paws to dish out the food and he laps it off his paws. He does make a little mess so there is some clean up around the feeder. Also some food gets left in the compartment because he canât quite get it all out. So far this unit has operated as advertised and performs perfectly. We wanted to stop the food begging all day and this has really kept our guy on a routine diet.
