WoW….no interest to dig??!!!
Our dogs LOVE to dig. I own the sour apple for no chewing, which works very well……So i thought…umm No Dig?! Let’s try it. We’ll…our dogs started to dig in that same area that they always do. My husband brought them in the house to sprayed the area that our dogs digged.WOW…..we brought the dogs back out…they went straight to that area smelled it and had absolutely no interest to dig. The smell to my husband he said it’s not pleasant.However, to me it reminds me of a cinnamon scent.Well whatever the smell it is to the dogs…they don’t like it.The ONLY ONE thing I must say…ifyou spray….make sure its not on the same day the sprinklers come on. LoLYou will have to re-spray. I can not say exactly how long it lasts on a dry day but it lasts long enough for me when my dogs are outside with me.

“Odor-free” isn’t exactly accurate…
Here in the information from the company it states “simulated pheromones that are odor-free.” Maybe it’s just the bottle I was sent, but mine smells exactly like lemon pledge! I have sprayed this around the main living areas of the house where we have the most issues & then watched our girl sniff the air, go right to the spots and start to hit them lime she’s panicked.I have been using another product to clean up first & that has helped a lot, but I have much more cleaning that I can’t get to until I get the problem under control.If anything, this product made the problems worse. If I spray one location, she might not come over and mess it up again, but there’s no guarantee. If it worked or works for you, I am a little envious. I’m waiting on my 3rd product to arrive by Tuesday & praying it helps me get my home back.

This does not work. I followed the directions precisely and my cat still peed. I had bought new carpeting and put this on the problem areas and she then peed to christen the new carpet.

Best preventative I have used
I have three cats. Each cat has their own litter box, plus one extra. Our last cat we rescued is an indoor/outdoor cat and young. She likes to pee on my bed. Sometimes she will pee on the couch, dogs bed, my daughters bed and dirty laundry. This definitely happens when 1) she doesnât get let outside to go 2) litter boxes arenât freshly cleaned. But she can and will do it randomly. I canât stand it. We love her, but itâs gotten to the point where I was literally looking for a miracle and I found it in this product. I spray it on our bed, the dog bed, couch as a preventative and it works. The scent is mild and pleasant to us, but it works wonders and she has ZERO accidents as long as I spray this weekly on items she likes to pee on.

Why the Two Stars
I had an old bottle of this product that worked wonderfully for me and when I put up my curtains I immediately went to start my ‘keep away’ game. Unfortunately I was running real low so I came here to purchase a few more bottles. When the product arrived I was very surprised to see that they changed it – the ingredient amounts are no longer the same (the newer of them having less amounts of each ingredient then the older bottle) and the newer one is oil based while the old was water. I am sad to see that they changed it up like that and I am really hoping that it still works, it’s hard enough to find things to help keep your cats from scratching, it is a shame to lose the one thing that worked.for reference – nacherThe old No Scratch ingredient list: Left a nice light piney scent – didn’t discolor my furniture.Garlic – 7gm-2.0%, Clove – 7gm-2.0%, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate – 10gm-3.0% (Inert Ingredient – Sodium Bicarbonate, Water)The new No Scratch ingredient list : No scent at all (which concerns me) – don’t know about it discoloring things yetGarlic Oil – 0.4%, Clove Oil – 0.4%, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate – 0.6% (Inert Ingredients – Purified Water, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil – total inerts 98.6%)Thats a huge difference just looking at it – if I noticed that it actually still works and or if I notice it start to discolor my items I will come back and update my review. Worked Immediately
We have two cats. One of them had been marking all over, especially in the dining room. No Mark – Cat spray worked immediately. We just spray in the areas once every day or two and there have not been any set backs.

It really works
So, I was surprised to see the negative reviews but I was desperate for a solution. Our cat was peeing on our bed. It didnât matter if the cat litter was completely clean or not. We decided sadly that we would have to get rid of her because we couldnât live this way anymore. There was nothing physically wrong with her. As a last resort we decided to try this spray. She stopped peeing immediately. It has been a week and a half now without any accidents. We are thrilled with the results. I guess it doesnât work for everyone but it made the difference for us.

Iâve just moved to a new house with all my cats. One of my cat sprays but so far where Iâve used this spray he hasnât sprayed and none of the cats have used there claws where Iâve sprayed this. Itâs a pleasant herbal smell that I donât mind and doesnât stain. I would recommend it.

I love my cats but dammit they have a destroyed a lot of furniture! I have tried some anti-scratch sprays before but they smelled so bad I couldnât take it. This one smells like herbs/essential oils/citronella so not altogether unpleasant but definitely strong/ noticeable. The instructions on the back of the bottle are accurate⦠You only need to spray your furniture a few days in a row to get them out of the habit of scratching and then reapply as needed when you notice they start getting interested again. We just bought some new furniture and I sprayed everything right from the beginning so now they donât seem to associate it with scratching at all. They donât stay away from the furniture altogether so you donât have to worry about them not having a place to sleep 😉 but they seem to just not need to scratch it. Both my cats still lay with me on the new couch and sleep on our new chair but they are not using it as a scratching post. I would totally recommend trying this.
