good Fiber and Protein for Cats
My cats eat this as part of their homemade food regimen, it adds a source of vitamin B, fiber and protein. They started with another brand and liked the taste so I bought this brand in a larger package and transitioned them over. I bought this particular product because it didnât have fortified vitamins as I have double compounded MTHFR and cannot tolerate synthetic vitamins well. I like that it is organic without the synthetic vitamins of course. It is versatile in that I can use it with many different recipes or even eat it plain. It has a delicious nutty/salty flavor that is very pleasing. Does not have any weird smells or textures that are unpleasant. Thereâs a little scoop inside, which makes it easy to use and know how much to use per day without taking too much. I keep it in its bag and put it in an airtight container just to make sure it is sealed up and fresh. But it could be easily sealed with the zip close on it.

Someone needs to come up with a better term for this stuff than nutritional yeast, because that just doesn’t do it justice. It really does add a cheesy, umami flavor to foods. I add it to vinaigrette dressings and have made nutritional yeast cheese sauce, and both were spectacular.Nutritional yeast, in its packaged form, does not look appetizing. Look beyond that. It really is amazing. And this brand is quite fresh and tasty.

This is a really good quality non-fortified nutritional yeast. I had tried a few different brands and they were ok. I took a chance of buying this for almost $30.00 and it did not disappoint. It has the flakiness and the taste is really good. I only use the recommended amount per day and don’t go overboard with it. I love that it’s a two pound bag and it should last for several months.
