I was buying local, but unfortunately the local farmer has seemed to stop production of Ceylon cinnamon. I love the aroma and color, are not similar to the cassia cinnamon. Ceylon has a lovely citrus and clover aroma and the color is tan vs brown. This brand is close in quality to what I am used to using. Eventually, I may have to put it in an air tight container and the scoop is very handy, I use a quarter of the scoop.I switched from cassia cinnamon because of the high percentage of coumarin – it damages your liver. Ceylon percentage is very low.I feel it has kept me healthyð

Love it for the health benefits
I use several Micro Ingredients products because they are high quality and very clean. I can’t say that this is the best tasting ceylon cinnamon that I’ve tried but I use it exclusively in smoothies so the taste isn’t of greatest importance. I’m more interested in quality and pure ingredients, which this has. The additional plus is that it’s a great price compared to other high quality brands. I will continue to be a customer!
