I use honey every day and also give it to my dog. Among many other benefits, honey contains vitamins and minerals, has anti-microbial properties, and reduces inflammation. It is also very good for dogs, the amount depending on the size of the dog (research it yourself and ask your vet for their recommendation). I give my dog 1 teaspoon per day, usually on top of a spoonful of pumpkin.I usually get a different brand of honey, but they were out, so I tried this one from Nateâs. I liked that it is raw, unfiltered, and organic. However, after tasting it, I am not a fan. Iâve always found that most brands of honey taste about the same, but this one is different. It is not as sweet, which is fine with me, but also has a taste that is slightly odd. Maybe itâs just the one jar I got, or maybe just one batch of jars.Update: I soon found that my honey was darker than usual, which often is an indicator of a different taste. I contacted Nate’s, they kindly sent me a replacement, and it tastes excellent!

This honey has been used by my wife and I for over 6 months. The taste and clarity varies, as would be expected from different sources and harvesting seaons. It has never crystalized. That indicates the glucose content is higher than the fructose. That is good because glucose metabolized better, it stimulates more insulin production, and it inhibits appetite more than fructose. Fructose is a culprite in causing fatty liver and chronic diseases. I have been consuming 2 tablespoons a day and my insulin resistance has dropped and I seem to feel healthier. So whatever Nate is doing, it works. God bless you, Nate. Contrary to some popular belief, honey production and harvesting helps protect bees. Do some research…
