Great backpack for the price
My teenage daughter just used this for a backpacking trip, and it worked great. Seems like a great pack for the price. I liked all the different pockets and it seems good quality so far.

Impressed
I had a real pack a while back that I paid 100s of dollars for. It was a great pack, but I wasn’t packing anymore and sold it after only using it a couple times. I was travelling on crutches and need a pack. This fit the price I was looking for, but this is a great pack. It has lots of extras and pockets. It was sturdy and comes with a built in rain hood. It was comfortable, although for smaller sizes other than large it felt a bit top heavy, but it is nice that it is adjustable. Now I want to go camping and hiking again I would buy this again especially at this price.

Good Starter Backpack
I’m new to backpacking so I purchased this as an “entry-level” pack and I am pretty pleased with it. I took this pack on a two night trip to North Manitou Island on Lake Michigan over Memorial Day weekend and it was large enough to hold all my gear (I didn’t weight it fully loaded with water and food but I’m guessing in the ~30 lb range) and it kept my stuff acceptably dry with the rain cover. I get the feeling a lot of these reviews are just from people who took it out of the package and think it’s awesome because they have a shiny new toy, so I wanted to post a review based on some actual use.Pros:Price!Lots of strapsMaterial has been pretty durableDecently comfortable – depends how much you are carryingCons:Water port for the hydration bladder hose could be a little bit bigger (you may consider just cutting some material away to make things easy)(See photos) The stitching along the top seam where the internal frame contacts the bag is starting to fray already – This seam doesn’t have any weight-bearing but it’s awfully close to the seam just below where your handle, load lifters, and top lid straps attach. If you don’t know how to adjust/fit the pack I found the REI guide pretty helpful (just google “REI backpack fitting” – can’t add link)3rd image is me in the foreground wearing this pack.

Good bag, no complaints
Took the bag on two backpacking trips and holds up very well. I originally had a 52L bag so this upgrade was very helpful in allowing me to store the big three without any issues. Lots of nice little pouches to hold all of your things too. Would definitely recommend this if youâre looking for an affordable and durable bag.

Great for tall people!
A lot of these bags are virtually identical, and if similar quality. What sets this one apart is the ability to alter the distance of the shoulder straps in relation to the hip straps. This is a must for me – I am 6ft 4in and on the bags without this adjustment, the hip straps hit me at my ribs, and thatâs way too high. This one is fully adjustable for hikers of all heights.Overall a great value for a big bag that is good for tall people.

Superior Adjustability for Petite Packers
This backpack is very functional and a nice quality for the price. It has all the bells and whistles. Tons of compartments and most importantly adjustability. I am a 5′ tall female and was worried that it would be oversized. I was really impressed with the torso length adjustment. It would actually fit someone even shorter than me! The hip belt has a lot of padding and is still comfortable even with a full pack. When the pack is top heavy it has two straps over the shoulder straps that you can tighten to pull the load forward so it doesn’t pull you back and throw off your posture. Really nice feature.I purchase the blue and it was true to color. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Good Product For The Price
Pretty good backpack with tons of internal space, a few extra large pockets including a hydration bladder pocket, and plenty of external straps for more equitment. Havent had any issues with any straps so far and seems to be good quality. I can only find 3 downsides being: 1) A little heavy, 2) Not the most comfortable, and 3) The hydration bladder hole is a little small and the hydration bladder pocket is to big and not in a great location. However for the price, these are all things I can over look for short 2 to 3 day backpacking.

You can do better for the money
I bought this as a first pack and probably should have done a bit more research. There are much better packs out there for the same, or just slightly more money. I was shipped the wrong color as well. I did not request a replacement as I was on a timeline and didn’t really have the time to go through the process before I needed to use it. It is a framed backpack. It will absolutely work for its intended purpose, but I would not recommend this pack now that I have done additional research.

This may be the best backpack I ever owned. the price is extremely low vs the quality you get. This pack has been designed by ppl doing expeditions, it shows all over. Quick access to main compartment, top pouch is detachable and adjustable, the shoulder strap system is sturdy and fits ppl from 4’6″ to about 6’6″, there are pre-made holes linking the 2 compartments for long tools if you ever want to carry those inside your pack, they use YKK zippers, the frame is flexible but reinforced with very lightweight non flexible bars. the padding on the back and shoulder is very thick, the clips are not flimsy, LOTS of possible outside configuration with straps all over ( bottom, middle, top, you name it, it has straps ) compressions straps well located and secured, extremely lightweight, adequate included rain cover also also, even if it’s stated water bladder was not included, mine arrived with a water bladder. the bottom compartment is big enough to hold : my 3 season down sleeping bad, my inflatable mat, my tarp, my hammock and my rain poncho ( which doubles as a second tarp ) with a bit of room to spare.drawbacks : nylon is very thin, I doubt this pack will survive 5 years of abuse, but given the price, I absolutely do not mind buying one every 5 yrs, the water bladder pouch is actually the pouch to access the internal frame, so your bladder will be compressed on the actual pack frame although there are no pointy or sharp edges there. also there are no place to velcro your flag, I had to glue mine on.it is the best pack I ever bought, one of the cheapest as well.. I have been doing alpine expeditions and rock climbing for over 15 yrs. I can fit my entire sleeping system in there, all my gear and tools, 7 days food and spare clothing, I do not even have to strap anything outside the pack plus I still have room. just wow

I need to test it out fully but the quality is great, it looks great and I love its overall structure and support.
