    Great quality for the price
    Takes great pictures and video. App is very user friendly. Only down fall is battery life. Recommend buying the rechargeable battery packs. Will buy again in the future.

    If you are having an issue and think your camera is BRICKED READ MY POST!
    I wanted to share my experience with everyone because I found nothing on the internet about this but it is clearly a thing. I have bought 10 of these cameras and I could not figure out why 5 of them were all doing the EXACT same thing right out of the box. Little did I know, its probably a software bug and I just didn’t do the same thing when I activated the other 5 cameras. Here is what my problem was…After I purchased the camera plan while adding the camera,**** I chose the option to have Photo+Video.****I then turned the camera on for the first time as the directions said.The camer boots, connects and then takes a software/firmware update.The camera then reboots and connects. The app even shows it checked in perfectly fine.The next thing that happens is the camer goes into useable mode and when it sees movement turns the video on. The IFR lights come on and the green light comes on like its taking a video. The problem is, the video camera never stops and it never uploads the video. It doesnt matter how many times you turn it off and back on, it just continues to happen until the batteries are dead which is very fast considering the camera is permanently on.After a bunch of trial and error i discovered what snaps the camera out of it.1. Turn Camera off.2. Go into the camera settings on the app.3. Change the setting to Photo only. NOT PHOTO+VIDEO4. Turn camera back on.5. Do something in front of the camera and wait for it to show up on the gallery in the app.6. At this point once you have gotten your first photo upload, you can switch it back to PHOTO+VIDEO and BOOM….it works.This solution fixed all 5 of my cameras that I thought were not uploading or bricked.Moultrie, Please research this and share this information with your customers. There is a lot of people saying they had bricked cameras and I bet this is why!Overall, the camera is amazing for its price. I got 6 cameras for the price of 1 of the newer fancy ones. They take great pictures. You just have to request the HD picture or video. They do make a click sound in the dark but i have never once seen an animal spook from it. 5 stars!!!

    Exactly as advertised
    These things are really cool trail cams. Super simple and straightforward to get setup. It hasn’t been overly motion sensitive. So I’m not getting lots of pictures of the wind blowing vegetation like I have with other cameras with the sensitivity up high. Construction seems solid. The only annoying thing is the photos aren’t giving me a notification when it takes a new one. But that might be an app issue or something with my phone settings. Super cool, simple and definitely a good value for the money. So far it can pick up deer movement accurately at least out like 30 yards.

    Works great on my farm 3 hours away
    I put 16 of of the ultimate lithium ion batteries in this camera in early December 2022. It was my hope that they would last for a few months. I set the camera to check every 6 hours and to take a test photo every day so I would know that it was working. Its March 20, 2023 and its still working great in a low signal area and it saves me 3 hours there and 3 back just to check my Reconyx cameras. The trigger speed is a little slow for a trail but so good and bright at night over a scrape or licking branch or a barn with equipment Sometimes it misses a 6 hour checkin but i think its switching to the stronger signal. Anyway, it catches the deer and my lawn guy and myself every time. I really love this setup and i own 5 reconyx cameras. It has sound but you have to be very close to the camera to hear it. I will buy more of this model after i see how long the batteries last. I am 100% satisfied so far.Update Sept 28, 2023 its still on the original 16 batteries. Im not kidding. Its still set to check in every 6 hours, takes a test picture every day and gets an occasional deer or the lawn guy coming by. If it makes it to December that will be one year on the original batteries. Im not kidding. Great job Moultrie and thank you. Update Oct 30th 2023. I purchase a second Edge and placed it on the same tree at the farm. This camera showed a weak signal and stamped Eastern time on the photos. This tree was nowhere near Eastern time and the other camera had good signal on that tree. After a hard reset that made no difference, I took the batteries out turned the switch on and drove 3 hours home. I setup the camera turned the power button off, put the batteries back in then turned the power on. The camera connected shows a good signal and stamps the correct time on the photos. I will take it back to the farm and try it there again. Nov 11, 2023 well this one went back to eastern time and a weak signal, but it sends videos so i bought 2 more. Very addictive. March 14, 2024 Update. The time finally corrected on its own and now has a good signal like my other 3. The PIR motion sensor stopped working on my first camera and customer support immediately replaced it after 1 year. Very satisfied with Moultrie. July 2024 – bought 2 more and they are working great although these only have one mounting hole. All the others have a mounting hole at the bottom and at the top on the back, strange its missing the extra 1/4 x 20 mounting hole.

    Good cell service but Slow trigger speed
    Been using these cameras for about a year now and they’re just ok. I don’t hate them but there are definitely better options albeit at a higher price point. Camera price is cheap enough but service plans are not cheap so long term you may actually pay more compared to other cameras. Definitely recommend going with the monthly service plans even though monthly they cost more but realistically I don’t need them running all year round which brings up the next negative in that they don’t have an option to use an SD card where other cell cams I have you can use them as a regular SD camera if you don’t want to pay for a subscription year round or if you want to put them in a remote location with no cell service.     My cell phone works on and off where the camera is with little to no service. The camera has been out for almost 2 months and sending lots of pictures. I had it on upload immediately and I read after that if your service isn’t good it will kill the batteries. 16 batteries dead after a month. I changed it to upload every 6 hours and now it’s still 90% after another month.

    This camera only works for usa and canadian residents. do not purchase if you live elswhere.refund offered but i have to pay the postage to return. they pay max $24 postage… lost $35.80
