Stops working/ poor quality picture
The picture quality is one of the poorer quality pictures when compared to other motorola baby monitors. We’d been using it less than a week and all of the sudden the camera went out and the monitor only showed a red camera picture with a line thru it. No matter all of our attempts to reset the monitor and re-pair the camera it didn’t work. The pairing light on the camera stays on permanently now when plugged in, so no matter what you try to do, you cannot reset the pairing to attempt to try ro resolve the issue. I’ve seen this happen to others in these reviews. Transitioning the baby out of a bassinet to a nursery crib can take time. We installed this in the nursery and starting using it for baby’s daytime naps, which were a few hours at a time max. By the time our baby was in the nursery full time, we’d only used if for overnight sleep twice and then while adjusting the monitor one day, it just totally stopped working. So… by the time we really needed it to work, the return period on the device was over… so no returns for the faulty equipment. Tbh, this is cheap garbage and I should have know given the price point. I was unsatisfied with the bad picture quality even when it was installed and working for those first few days, so it would not have been a good solution in the long run. Disappointing but not shocking.

Great budget friendly product
I love this monitor. I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but I took a chance on it and Iâm glad I did. You can zoom, mount it to the wall, wide range, good picture, good volume ,easy to set up, and adjustable functions. I 100% recommend this monitor.

Terrible
Terrible honestly. Thought I was getting a bang for my buck but always disconnects. Phone app never works. Hard to reconnect it like it doesnât want to read any device near it. If it isnât connected it will shut off automatically and if it does connect picture wonât pop up but the sound does and the sound on highest setting is still too low. Will randomly change to another camera assuming itâs connecting to another nursery which is so dangerous. Not worth it at all

I bought this as an extra for when we are away on trips. The picture quality is just as good as the experience monitor I have. It is very easy to set up and is user friendly. I like that it tells you the temperature of the room. Definitely great quality for the price.

Opened package and immediately the camera would not connect to the monitor. Keeps beeping. Tried to connect to WIFI. Nothing worked. Trust the other reviews. It’s garbage. 0 technical support from Motorola

20$ and I get real time notifications on my phone while at work. This was very important to me since I am now back at work and daddy has to get up with him if he wakes up. Daddy is a deep sleeper so I need to know if I have to call him to get him up. It was super easy to set up on the app and with the regular monitor and camera. Iâm glad I took a chance based on the few good reviews! Great system! Get it!

I really wish I had listened to the other reviewers. But it was on sale, there was an additional $20 off, and itâs for our almost 3 year old whoâs a great sleeper and probably wonât need a monitor much longer anyway, so I figured âhow bad can it be?â The answerâ¦so, SO bad. Everything the other reviewers complained about was spot on. This is our first day using the camera. We realized before nap time that the magnet base was indeed too weak to hold the unit in place because of the cord placement. We added some tape to help support it and it seemed to work. During nap, I realized how grainy the picture really is. Really poor quality video, which is a problem for us since this is for our toddler and her bed is across the room. It was also flickering and couldnât adjust well to night vision. By the time bedtime came around it was still up thanks to the tape. Unfortunately the tape gave way and now Iâm staring at my wall and floor. Monitor battery is garbage. I saw that complaint and thought âno big we only need it for a 45 minute nap and for the 1-2 hours at night before we go to bed too.â At 45 minutes into the night, monitor was already down to 1 bar out of 4.I may just try to make it work since I got it for so cheap and it is for my 3 year old. But I would never EVER rely on this for a baby.
