Really terrible quality
I ordered the same monitor for my first child 3 years ago, and had no problems, it works great. With this one, however, the quality is awful. It’s so pixilated, the sound/video lag significantly, and it will randomly flash really bright and then back to normal (as shown in video). It takes a really long time for the video to display after it’s been on sleep mode as well. I never leave reviews, but I felt like I had to for this one.

Buying this a second time
I got the older version of this monitor before we had our children (~2019.) Itâs been going strong since then. Yesterday the parent unit got washed with my bedsheets. To my surprise, the sound feature still works. I couldâve ran to the store and bought another $100 name brand model, but I figured we would just brave a night without video and wait for the new model to ship!

Poor Resolution, but Audio Good
I had an older version that worked well until one camera stopped working and feedback came through the “Parent Unit” from the 1st camera was distracting. So purchasing a newer model was important, as I use this to monitor the outside while I’m inside, so hearing what is happening with livestock while indoors is important to me.There was an initial problem with the camera and the parent unit not in contact. However, customer support from Motorola was excellent and the units were able to, “see each other” again.Positive: you can adjust the camera’s angle from the parent unit, unlike the older model.Negative: Getting to connect can be problematic, as if you move the camera and unpluging it is required,it will probably need to be reset and re-synching may be nessesary. Also, the video resolution is grainy in comparison to my older unit.To sum it up, this product solved my need to hear if livestock is okay, and customer support will help out if required and, more importantly, will make returns easy for the customer.

A joke of a product
This baby monitor is comically bad. Its the definition of âyou had one jobâ. Nothing works properly. Often the monitor doesnât even connect to camera. The interface feels like its from the late 90s. The screen runs out of power after 30 minutes. It would all be funny, except it has the highly important job of monitoring your young child. Do not buy!

Monitor changed for the worse
I purchased a second one of these monitors when my youngest was born after owning one for two years. Unfortunately, it seems like both the camera and audio have been updated in the last two years and are much lower quality than previous. The picture quality is not very clear or crisp so it is much harder to make out details. Additionally, and more importantly, the audio seems to be much worse. The new version would not pick up my daughters quiet cries which were quite clear on the previous version. Probably fine if you want this for a toddler, but not very reliable to monitor a newborn.
