Worked for a day.
I bought this for my toddler since we moved and now we are on opposite corners of the house. I feel like he has outgrown the need for a camera. The camera on the wall scares him now so we had to throw the last one out after two and a half years. All I needi is to hear him. This monitor worked for a day, if that. All I get is a crackling sound after a little more than a week, and it randomly wakes me up when it canât link to the counterpart in my sonâs room. I have it next to me on my night stand and my son is will talk himself to sleep and I canât hear him at all. He would yell to let us know if he was awake, and he always has trouble when heâs sick. And now he has a slight cough and runny nose and I am without a working monitor of any kind.

It works but not well
This unit was purchased for its ability to talk through the parent unit to the baby unit. The transmit button has a delay that makes it frustrating to use and the monitoring of sound from the room is squelched until a particular level is reached and there is no way to make it an open listening for softer sounds .

Loath this device
I wanted to like this device, I really did. But, instead, I loath it. For starters, the base is not wide enough on the units so that they will stand up reliably, If the power cord hangs down, which of course it generally does, the base of the monitoring unit and the primary unit are pulled over by the weight of the chord. Also problematic, there is no light for it whatsoever to indicate sound coming from the monitoring unit. Also, even at the highest volume, The monitoring unit is difficult to hear. In addition, there are zero lights To indicate that there is a sound from the base unit. To sum up: battery life equals very good. No lights to indicate sound from the base unit equal absolutely horrible. Sound monitoring, even at the highest volume, is pitiful. Would I order it one again? No

4:00am and it just died
So this monitor was working fine for months and occasionally would beep very loud saying, “Not Linked” until I would fuss with the battery pack and it would connect again. Never too much of an issue, but in the last few times it hasn’t connected right away and/or I have to mess with the plug in the battery pack inside multiple times. The battery pack connection on this thing is TINY.So now I am sitting here awake at 4:00am with a monitor loudly beeping at me saying not linked, then it shut off completely. I opened up the back and the battery SMELLS and is burning hot. I have disconnected it because I am honestly worried about it either going up in flames or just beeping and being super annoying.I’m not hoping I can hear my baby when he wakes up in the other room and am extremely mad at this product. DO NOT BUY. UNRELIABLE AND DANGEROUS.
