Finally, a wallet that is tall enough
The Montana West Men’s Genuine Leather Wallet arrived in a nicely packaged gift type box. The entire presentation is worthy of gift giving. The only awkward part of the packaging is that there is a card in the “license window” of the wallet that touts their name (Montana West), some basic product description, and in big numerals: $29.99. Personally, since the wallet is for me, I don’t particularly care, but if one were to gift it, you would likely want to carefully unpack that really nice packaging and remove the price tag in the license window. No biggie….just a bit awkward. Now, on to the wallet itself. I really like it. The leather quality is nice; firm but still flexible. The stitching is clean and tight. What I really like is that is about 1/2″ taller than many or most wallets of the generic type. So many times with other average construction wallets, I would have to take extra time and effort to straighten out my cash and tidy the bills so that they slip all the way down to the bottom of the cash compartment (and don’t stick out of the top of the wallet to scream out how much of what is in there every time I take the wallet out of my pocket). With the Montana West taller design, there is about 1/2″ of additional “wallet wall” above the bills, so they are all tucked in and covered, even when they are in a bit of disarray. Also, the license window compartment is accessed from the top (many are accessed from the side at the center fold). Access from the top is all that much easier to remove and insert the license. Travelers and fliers will appreciate this when you are fumbling at the luggage and security line at the airport.

I ordered this for my boyfriend. His wallet was hanging on by a thread, threatening to fall apart with one wrong move. When I gave him this wallet, which came in a nice gift box, he was thrilled. Said he loved the color, and immediately started transferring everything over.He’s weirdly picky for someone who doesn’t care much for the way things look. He didn’t want anything too bulky, preferred the bifold over the trifold, but wanted enough room for his daily carry-around items.This wallet looks much more expensive than it is in reality. A great price for a wallet that looks and feels at least double the cost.There’s plenty of room for his various collection of cards, as well as the cash he insists on carrying. I did blur his ID out in the picture, but there’s an Id window inside to make it easily accessible.Overall, it’s a great wallet at a great price point. Can’t beat it.

Simple, Versitile, Classic and Contemporary
I wanted to give my son a genuine leather wallet when one of our beloved Great Pyrenees puppies ate his previous wallet. We both like this wallet. In fact, my son made the final selection on which wallet to get, and obviously, this was his choice. It is attractive and functional. The leather is beautifully crafted, and the stitching is tight and uniform. It has a compartment for paper money or receipts, a window for a driver’s license, and several credit card slots. It has everything my son needs to carry with him in a slim wallet. One of the things I like best about this wallet, other than the genuine leather, is the fact that the design of this wallet makes it suitable for just about any attire. It can be used with a suit just as well as it can be used with your favorite jeans. It’s simple, versitile, and classic, as well as elegant and sophisticated, all at the same time. With the added contemporary feature of RFID blocking. We both really like this wallet for its many virtues and fair price. We can not say enough on how pleased we are with this classic style wallet.
