Nice inexpensive black wallet
This black tri fold wallet is well made and looks good. I find that the card slots where the right side the cards go in vertically and on the left sideâ¦cards are oriented horizontally. The see through window slot in the middle of the wallet can accommodate a driverâs license but since the card goes in vertically some of my driverâs license info is blocked so that I canât just flash my license and keep it in the wallet. Overall this is a nice wallet; the only negative that I have is on the mixed orientation of the card slots.

Smells like a baseball mitt
This Trifold Wallet from Montana West is something that was ordered after I had a look at the husband’s current “pocket mess”. There is nothing my man holds closer, longer, or more often than his wallet, and getting him to replace it was like fighting a grizzly bear, but I survived.This wallet design has seven card sized slots, one with a transparent window for a driver’s license and a large pouch for bills. It is made from quality leather, in a light chocolate shade of brown. On closer inspection it appears to be very well made with straight stitching and a nice logo on the outside and inside.Most trifold wallets after a lot of use, develop a tendency to reshape or morph slightly out of their original shape, and then begin to fall apart. This wallet has a snap on it, which should help resist this migration tendency over time. The husband loaded this wallet right from his old one, put it in his pocket, and has not thought even once about it since. This is because it was comfortable from the get-go. If a man can put a brand new wallet in his pocket and then forget it… Well, that speaks volumes to the comfort and the quality of it.At time of this review, this Montana West wallet is selling for $16.99. One could pay a lot more than that for a genuine leather wallet and not find better quality than this one, so I find that price to be an excellent value.

Nice looking soft trifold wallet with ample storage
I have only carried trifold wallets and ordered one this because it is leather, compact, has no hard popup vault, and is supposed to be RFID blocking. I prefer not to put my wallet on the center console on long drives because I too often forget it when getting out at a stop. So, I want something to provide security, enough space for what I need to carry, and something that will be soft sitting on it for hours. The MontanaWest wallet checks all the boxes. It has a little less space than the one it replaces, but the space is sufficient. As of now I am indifferent to the snap that can keep it closed. My only complaint is with the card storage on the side that has the company logo. The front card completely covers the 2nd card and makes it difficult to retrieve the 2nd without removing the first. This is not a problem with either the ID holder in the center, under which you can stack another card, or the card slots on the other side of the wallet. The only other negative is not with the product. Given its smaller profile it is easy for me to retrieve it from my jeans, but it is also easier for a pickpocket to do the same.
