Very useful, easy to use, great magnification.
This was a fun item for our grandkids (5-10 year olds) on vacation. We didn’t let them take them outside, but had them go outside and collect items, bring those to the house and supervise them more closely. The view screen is large and the focusing was easy for the kids to use. They had a lot of fun looking at different textures and details in various nature items. Only complaint is the lens cap isn’t attached in any way, so once it’s taken off, it could be very easy to lose. It’s an important item to keep the lens clean and safe, so we kept reminding the kids to replace it. It would be helpful if it were attached, or if there were some place on the device to hold the lens cap while the kids are using the device.

Exceeded expectations! Was intended as a Christmas present for the 8 year old granddaughter, but everybody passed it around.Very clear pictures without fussing with focusing. Just hope it holds up to so much use and recharging!

These were a huge hit for Christmas! My children are now interested in learning how everything looks up close from decomposing fruit to skin cells to fabric. These are great quality! I only wish they took batteries instead of having to be plugged in to charge.

This is pretty cool but gets old fast. It’s nothing like a microscope but it really magnifies things. To capture a photo or a video is somewhat difficult because it’s not really a button you have to push but rather an indentation and how do you push on something that is already pushed in? It’s not easy and you have to try several times before it will actually take the picture. The design of it actually sucks.

There were some negative reviews but I think a lot of them were user error. Sometimes people dont understand how things function. For example microscope have a very shallow depth of field. Which means the area in focus is very short. The depth of the focus is shallow. Thats just how microscopes work.The screen is big which in great. You can focus the device with a large ring that is on the device, Its very convenient.Anyhow so far extremely happy with the device.

Could be great if software worked
As you can see in the pictures, the software isn’t recognizing the microscope.Additionally, only a few pictures save on the internal storage and the others just disappear.I’ve spent literal hours trying to get this thing to work to no avail. The wifi on the microscope doesn’t ever connect to my phone. This is so cool and my daughter loves it. Too bad you can’t get any pictures off the device or get the software apps to work.Returning due to it not working correctly. Super annoying.
