    Works Perfectly
Despite some of the reviews saying the plugs do not connect/disconnect often, they don’t work well with Apple’s HomeKit…mine has worked perfectly fine. I used them for my Christmas tree this year instead of a tradition timer that arent always accurate. I love how easy it was to set up and have been able to set automations to turn on at sunset and turn off at my desired time. I love that I can control it while I’m away from my home or even out of town. I would buy more for sure.

Solid smart plug with unbeatable pricing
I recently purchased the Meross Smart Plug Mini, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed with this product. Not only does it offer an impressive range of features, but it’s also incredibly reliable and stable within my HomeKit network. One of the things I love most about this smart plug is how easy it was to set up. All I had to do was download the Meross app, connect the plug to my Wi-Fi network, and voila – it was ready to use. From there, I was able to control the plug using the app, as well as through Siri, Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant, and Nest Hub. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to control my devices with my voice, and I love that I can do it all from one app.The reliability of these smart plugs is also really impressive. I have over 50 devices in my HomeKit network, and these plugs have never given me any issues or dropped connections. They always work exactly as intended, which is a huge plus.Another great feature of these smart plugs is the timer function. I love being able to set a schedule for my devices to turn on and off, which saves me time and energy. It’s also helpful for when I’m away from home and want to give the impression that someone is still there.Overall, I would highly recommend the Meross Smart Plug Mini to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile smart plug. It’s easy to use, works with a variety of voice assistants, and is incredibly stable within a large HomeKit network. Whether you’re a smart home enthusiast or just looking for an easier way to control your devices, this product is definitely worth considering.

Works Well, Updates are Slightly Wonky
Simple, works, supports a clicker/toggle button on the left-side to turn on/off manually.Light indicating “on/off” can be enabled/disabled (ie: usually green==on, off==off, but you can turn off the light all the indicator light all the time w/o putting a piece of tape over it).Updates are semi-frequent (I’m describing the iOS / Apple / HomeKit experience), but they’re a little difficult to successfully manage.#1 updates have to be run by a secondary (junky) app, otherwise homekit complains of “out of date firmware” notification#2 the app for updating doesn’t match the iOS / HomeKit naming (it’s always: “Plug, Plug, Plug, Plug, etc…”) so if you have a single plug which hasn’t updated it’s kindof tricky to figure out which one it is for troubleshooting (pro-tip: turn off all the lights/outlets, then turn them on one, by one, switch over to the app, and rename the only outlet which is turned on).#3 the app is kindof gross. It’s got coupons and probably spyware and what not. From a HomeKit perspective, the app is _necessary_ b/c of the updates it provides, but not well integrated. On the plus side, they’re really affordable, and I’ve been super happy to have them.My suggestion is to pair this with 1-2 `Eve` brand outlets which support usage monitoring.1) Pick the target device (lamp, xbox, fan, whatever).2) Run it for a few weeks w/ the “better” Eve outlet with usage monitoring. See about how much it costs to run that device per day/week/month, etc.3) Switch it over to a cheaper Meross plug, and then keep in mind about how much it costs4) Repeat with your next device…5) 100% buy these Meross plugs for anything which you can “turn off” easier and “will pay for itself”.For me, I’m able to physically power-down my X-Box overnight w/ one of these plugs, which saves ~$2-5/month compared to accidentally leaving it on overnight. That means these plugs pay themselves off in 2-3 months… BUT you need a usage-monitoring plug in order to figure out where it makes the most sense to have app-control.I’m unaware of the vampire-load of each of these plugs, but that info is probably in another review or answered question.Summary: – They’re easy to set up – They work well with HomeKit – They’re mostly OK to keep up to date – The app isn’t great (but you don’t need to use it often) – They’re simple and I’ve been very happy they’re cheap enough to put them in a bunch of places!

Love the setup ease and multiple schedules
I am so pleased with these. My daughter has the HUE system and I loved how they could set their lights to schedules. I just did not want to pay that price. They love their system, but I needed something for 2 lamps in my apartment so I couldn’t justify the price of the HUE. They love HUE and have their entire house on it and it is nice. I hated walking into a dark apartment. Now I have my dining room lamp set to be on when I get home and go off automatically at midnight (my usual bedtime). This way I have light if I need to get a drink or something. I also have one in my bedroom, this way when all lights are turned off, I am not walking into a dark bedroom. I also love that I can set multiple schedules. I have a very hard time getting up in the mornings. Now I can have the lamp come on and help to slowly wake me up. These are awesome and so glad I gave them a try.

These plugs work as you’d expect once setup. They react VERY quickly through HomeKit when working with automations, Siri, or manual control through the Home app or the Meross App.Setup:This was the most involved part. As others have stated, HomeKit setup can be a little tricky if you haven’t done it before, that being said I didn’t run into nearly as many issues as other reviewers seemed to have had. I setup directly as a HomeKit device through the Meross app following the on screen HomeKit prompts. I also set up the devices in a kitchen outlet first so I don’t have to bend over behind a couch for the initial setup. This also allowed me to keep the phone within a foot of the device for setup which seemed to help. The first time I tried I was standing 6 feet away with my phone in my hand and it didn’t complete the setup, the please wait wheel just kept spinning. Once I left the phone on the counter directly under the plug (~1ft away) it setup instantly, the HomeKit prompts do tell you to stay “close” to the device while setting up. Each plug must be set up individually, as such I recommend doing just one at a time so you don’t get confused about which is which. Once the HomeKit setup was complete, you have to add the device to the Meross app again as it is not done automatically during the HomeKit setup. This isn’t a bug, this is a HomeKit thing, not a Meross thing. In the Meross app you tap the “+” button in the top right and. The HomeKit plugs are recognized in the Meross app as unlinked deviced at the top of the add device page in the app. Once added to the app, it will prompt you for a firmware update, let the device do the update (1min), and then your done. You can not control the plug through the app or the home kit app.Use:It’s a plug that you either turn off or on. My use case was for a pair of floor lamps that didn’t have a dimmer, but required me to lean over my couch to turn on/off. The device reacts EXTREMELY quickly through HomeKit. The lag time between hitting the “switch” in the Home app is non existent. Conclusion:Over all I’m very happy with the plugs. Sure they may have limited use cases, but if you have an application for an automated outlet, these work great! They are also ETL listed so you know they aren’t some cheap product that will accidentally burn your house down.

The Meross Smart Plugs are a welcome addition to my growing list of Meross products. Each of their products has worked great and as you would expect. The Smart Plugs came in a small, well packaged box with clear installation instructions, a FAQ, warranty, and additional information on the Apple HomeKit. The plugs seem to be very well built and feel solid and are sleek in design so that two of them can be plugged into one standard wall socket. They are rated at 120v and 15Amps which is perfect for almost any home appliance or light. Installation was very easy. Plug them into the wall socket, verify the lights are blinking orange and green, go to your Meross App, click to add a new device, it’ll find the new device, click on it and choose an icon and name for the new device. That’s it! The App shows a bunch of useful information like: Name, Location, Wifii signal strength, Model number, Firmware version, MAC address, etc. You can even choose to disable the little LED if you want. I have both plugs connected to two lights in separate rooms. In the App I configured a schedule to turn the lights on once it gets dark and then turn them off around bedtime. I also connected it to my Google Home and have the ability to use voice control to turn on and off the plugs. All I have to say is “Hey Google turn on the lights”, and then all the lights will turn on. I can also turn on individual lights. These things are awesome. Thanks Meross!

Excellent value but this is certainly the most finicky Smart Plug I have used. Setup can be real painful.Easy to get into HomeKit but when you need to do firmware updates you must use the Meross App.That’s where the problem is. So a bit of advice. 9 steps.1. Be sure your iPad/iPhone used is on 2.4GHz!!!!2. Very important!!! Be sure the DHCP IP address the Meross device will use has Internet access. I used DHCP reservations. Device absolutely needs this access during setup.3. Do not setup in Homekit directly. You can but don’t. Updates are impossible if you do.4. Plug in the device and hold the power button for 10 secs. Should flash org/grn. On iPad open Meross App.5. Add device. Most cases you’ll need to select the device you have add. Follow wizard. It should complete successfully. Restart process otherwise6. Go to the Meross App -> Home Tab. Device should be there. Scroll from top to bottom if needed to refresh.7. Go to Meross App -> Account tab. If device needs updates do it here.8. Go to HomeKit. Device/s should be there and should work perfectly.9. Remove Internet access for these Meross devices from your Firewall. Strongly Recommended!!— These seem to be great devices at a great price but time will tell. —

  10. Cool Chill

Product is easy to install and works as expected. Voice commands work well with Siri in controlling the power. This is a full 15 amp circuit capable of switching electric kettles and other high-power appliances. Most other devices are severely limited in terms of handling power.Only issue is the width doesn’t allow use of an adjacent outlet in a duplex configuration.

Llevo varios años usándolos, se enlazan fácilmente a HomeKit y con algunas actualizaciones de firmware a través de la app de Meross se han hecho muy estables.
