Incredibly light and soft
This shirt is extremely lightweight and comfortable; great for hiking in a humid enviroment. It dries very quickly with no lingering smell like some performance fabrics. True to size. While I cannot speak for longevity (only had for a month), very pleased with performance, comfort, color and company. Easy to hand wash, air dries quickly. Great value for price. Started with purchasing one, ended up buying three for traveling , as it exceeded expectations!

Soft, Sturdy, and Powerful in a Power Outage!
I am so thankful the folks who are responsible for the creation of this shirt! New England has been dumped with a couple of really nasty, heavy snowstorms this late March and April, in which hundreds of thousands have lost power, including me. Living in a building where everything is powered by electric, having a layer like this is really a true lifesaver. My skin is highly sensitive to friction, and although an alpaca gaiter completely failed, this t-shirt absolutely won the power outage! It is thoroughly comfortable: soft, well fitting according to the size chart, with absolutely no itchiness whatsoever. It truly is the perfect base layer in the cold, and I intend to purchase more for this winter. I chose to wash it upon arrival using a small drop of gentle unfragranced facial cleanser (it was what I had on hand) and a cold water soak of about 10 minutes. Following a thorough rinse also in cold water, I laid it upon a clean towel and gently rolled it to remove excess water. It’s very important not to wring out wool, as it will stretch and harm the fibers. I laid it across the top of a drying rack, where it dried in about 18 hours. Had I done a second towel dry, it would have dried more quickly, but I hadn’t planned well enough to do laundry so there wasn’t quite an abundance of towels at hand! The result was a perfectly clean, cozy shirt ready to go. I checked all the seams and this shirt appears to be very well made and built to last. Wool base layers are supposed to be on the thin side, and that doesn’t affect their warmth. Highly recommended!

Great wool; close-fitting; somewhat short
Wool is my staple, and I’ve been trying as many brands and lines as my budget allows. This Merino.tech tee invites a second look and will likely lead to a second purchase. I tested it two consecutive workdays beneath button-downs and ties. First day rain, next day sun. Indoors and outdoors, it kept pace with the temperature and my activity. No sweat, no scent, no need to keep the arms down.Pros: Quality, closely-woven wool; excellent weight; excellent stitching; good neckline hem; overall feel that says “this will last.” The socks accompanying the purchase are comfortable, multi-season, everyday use that will work in lace-up boots as well as casual dress shoes.Cons: The tee runs short. At five-eight, 138 and slim, I think an extra inch in length for the medium would have kept the shirt tucked better, although not a problem when worn alone and untucked. The tags at the waist and neck are rather noticeable and itchy. Use sharp scissors and a steady hand as the tags, like the tee, are built to last.

Fits perfectly and looks good.
This shirt is the first I’ve ordered from Merino tech and I am very pleased/ The ship is comfortable and looks well and has all the advantages of Merino wool at a good price.

Reasonably priced and quality merino wool
I am wearing my Merino tech shirt as I write this review. Comfortable and perfect as a travel shirt in warm climates. I bought two of these shirts to use in the gym and also for traveling during the summer and fall. The extra bonus are the socks which are very durable, soft, and very comfortable

Nice versatile layer.
A nice tight weave that insulates and wicks as a base layer and suitable and smart as a classy T under a sport coat or leather jacket. Loose at the waist for CCW.

Loved this shirt but defective
Initially my husband loved this shirt. Soft, warm but nice moisture wicking fabric. We just noticed a small hole starting in the front lower half of the shirt and when we looked inside the shirt, there is a defective knot of the yarn at this spot. It is past the return time but I was very disappointed.

Had to have another one
I bought this as a present for my son. He hasn’t been given it yet, but he already has two of them and loves them. They are comfortable, made well, and hold up nicely.
Not great –
For me to review a product it has to meet my fairly high standard of fashion and functionality, especially at this high price point.I tried multiple shirts at stores and off of Amazon, looking for an athletic casual wear, that would be suitable for extended travel, and hiking. My criteria was.. good fit, good quality, simple style and durability! These shirts hit all criteria, after much searching Iâm glad to share my positive experience. After ordering and testing one.. I have ordered 4 more, three total T-shirt, one light weight long and a mid weight long! This is enough for a full wardrobe of my multi year travel and hiking adventure. Quality costs, but this quality is worth it

Amazon recommended an xl for me and I normally wear a medium. I’m 5’9″ and 170 lbs.I ordered large based on the recommendation and it was still too big. I’ve returned it and ordered a medium. Just order your usual size.
